Anger and resentment had got Axel nowhere. However that was the past, and Axel’s present was all about feeling good, going with the flow, and living his best life in Eagle Ridge.

And it was all down to one special, sassy young man in his life.

The very boy he was driving to see in fact…

‘Hey, Kipp, what’s up?’ Axel asked, bear hugging his fellow Daddy as the two men greeted on another outside the ranch house.

‘You know, another day, another renovation,’ Kipp laughed. ‘Don’t get me wrong, I love this place. But damn, it’s a lot of work. And don’t even ask me about getting that orchard upand running again. I think I’m going to step aside and let you work your magic on that…’

‘I’m looking forward to it,’ Axel laughed. ‘Call me crazy, but it’s my jam. I’ve seen the photos, I know how well your Uncle Joe had the orchard flowering. All those delicious apples and pears. I’ll be working my ass off to get it back to its prime, don’t you worry.’

The two Daddies fist bumped.

‘Speaking of renovations though,’ Kipp said, smiling as he watched his dog Brutus and Laser tear around the front yard. ‘Dale and I are going to be doing some work in the barn over by the lake. It’s probably going to be a late-night for us. So…’

‘So?’ Axel asked, not quite sure what Kipp was suggesting.

‘So you and Arlo will have the house all to yourselves,’ Kipp said, putting his hand on Axel’s shoulder. ‘No interruptions.’

‘Got it,’ Axel replied, trying to play it cool but sensing that his and Arlo’s time could very much be approaching. ‘I don’t want to push the boy too fast. You know?’

‘I get it,’ Kipp replied. ‘But don’t hold off too long either. If it feels right for both of you, just let it happen.’

Axel nodded. Kipp had a point. Things had moved on between Axel and Arlo to the point where they had discussed the fact they were monogamous, had a clear bill of sexual health, and that when the time came they wouldn’t use protection. It wasn’t exactly a romantic discussion, but Axel was happy to have had the talk with Arlo and that both of them were on the same page as the other.

And speaking of Arlo…

‘Daddy! You’re here!’ Arlo hollered, poking his head out of Dale’s bedroom window.

‘Yay! Axel!’ Dale added, squeezing next to Arlo and waving down to Axel and Kipp.

‘Come on, Dale, down with me,’ Kipp called back. ‘We’ve got plenty to be getting on with. And bring the snacks with you from the kitchen… it’s going to be a long one!’

‘But I want to play with Arlo!’ Dale said, screwing his face up.

‘I’m counting down from ten,’ Kipp replied, exchanging a knowing look with Axel. ‘If that butt isn’t down here by the time I hit zero, there’ll be a paddle heading your way.’

Axel chuckled as Dale disappeared from sight and soon came charging out of the house with a basket of snacks and a can-do attitude. Not only that, but Arlo was now outside and wrapping his arms around Axel’s waist.

‘Can we play some games?’ Arlo asked. ‘And I won’t be a brat if I lose either. I promise.’

‘Well, I’ll believe that when I see it,’ Axel laughed. ‘But, yes, we can play some games. Come on, let’s head inside. Good luck with your work, guys.’

With that, Axel and Arlo waved Kipp and Dale off as they headed to the barn for an evening of hard work and probably some horseplay too.

Soon enough, Axel and Arlo were inside the ranch house and settling down in the living area with an array of board games, card games, and plenty of stuffies around them too.

Axel couldn’t help but smile as Arlo enthusiastically picked out his first game of the night. He looked adorable in his tight white t-shirt and cut-off denim shorts. In fact, Arlo looked so good that Axel decided to take control of precisely what kind of game they would be playing…

‘We’re going to playmygame,’ Axel said, his cock already beginning to stiffen inside his jeans at the thought of what he wanted to do.

‘Okaaaay… what’s your game, Daddy?’ Arlo asked, curious and a little unsure.

‘It’s called… catch the Little!’ Axel bellowed, springing to his feet and making a grab for Arlo with his hands only for Arlo to duck and dodge his way out of his grasp.

‘Hehe! Missed!’ Arlo hollered in delight, turning and wiggling his butt by way of celebration. ‘Try again, sucker!’

‘That’s it! You’re in trouble now!’ Axel roared, spreading his arms like an eagle and running after his sassy opponent.
