I couldn’t believe he got my size right, and it was everything I could ever imagine for myself. I never thought I could experience something so beautifully expensive with so much luxury at the hands of a handsome and extremely wealthy man. One that I never expected would have laid eyes on me and loved what he saw. His gorgeous deep brown eyes made me melt at his feet. But the same eyes had seared into me with an intense power during the lecture and warned me to stay away. Deep eyes that burned into my backside and made me shiver with uncertainty. The eyes of his silver fox father. He could leave any woman kneeling at his feet and pleading for more.

But not me.

Dylan Stark was the only one I had eyes for with his gorgeous looks and he was on his way to get me. He should be here any minute and here I was, daydreaming about his daddy. Dylan’s father and Daxon Stark got under my skin.

“Get a grip and get your ass in gear...” I mumbled to myself and grabbed my brush.

I combed the bristles through my long, damp waves as they curved nicely down my shoulders and bounced with each brush. I applied a bit of makeup and my plump lips smacked the bright red lipstick together. It was his favorite thing about me and I didn’t want to disappoint him. He was a man of power and wealth I had never known, but I was excited to experience his world. Even if it was just for one date.

There was no way a handsome and extremely rich man like Dylan Stark could ever fall for me. My hopes were low going into this and expected little at all. I was an undergrad with no business experience and just a dream. I had under two hundred dollars in my bank account and once he got to know the real me, he’d run in the opposite direction. Dylan Stark could have any woman and he wouldn’t want me.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, and it startled me, but excited me. It broke me from my negative thoughts as I ran my hands through my hair one last time and smiled at my reflection. The one I couldn’t wipe off my face since I met Dylan.

“Celeste? Someone is here for you.” Paisley said as her tone teased with eagerness.

I exhaled and looked into my deep brown eyes. “You can do this, Celeste...”

I grabbed the doorknob, braced myself for what was on the other side, and opened the bathroom door. I found an unfamiliar man dressed in a suit and bow tie wearing a black hat in my dorm room. Paisley eyed him up like he was an expensive piece of meat and I held back my laughter.

“You must be, Celeste.” He started off with a charming smile as he held red and white roses in his hands. “Mr. Stark is waiting for you out in his limousine.”

The limousine driver extended the gorgeous flowers towards me. My heart swelled, but Paisley stepped forward and swooped in. I pouted as she took a big whiff of the extravagant scent and waved her hand at me.

“Go on and get out of here. I’ve got this and will put these beauties in some water.” Paisley admitted with a moment’s hesitation.

The polite limousine driver extended his arm towards me. I shyly smiled and grabbed my heels. They hugged my feet as I fastened them in place and took his arm. He walked me away, but Paisley’s warm giggle followed me down the hallway and mixed with whispers. My heels clicked along the tiled floor as students stopped and admired my beauty. Gossip poured down the hallway of the university dormitory and I’d never be the same student again. I was the centre of attention and it was all because of Dylan Stark.

I continued to follow the polite gentleman’s lead. We walked out the entrance and there was a limousine pulled up right in front of the dormitory. My eyes went wide at the sight before me and never in my wildest dreams did, I imagine being swept away in such luxury.

Eyes peered into my backside, and I knew everyone was watching. My nerves had settled as the reality of the situation sunk in and I knew at any moment I’d see him. I didn’t picture this kind of attention, but I could get used to this.

The back door of the limousine opened, and a flashy shoe stepped out. A long leg followed as my eyes worked upwards and I found he wore a black suit that matched with my pretty dress. The perfect combination and my eyes landed on his gorgeous smile as it shined straight at me. I couldn’t turn away even if I wanted to.

Mr. Dylan Stark’s eyes roamed over me with a glint of awe and flames flickered with desire. A lust that was all for me and I couldn’t figure out why, but right now I could care less.

He ran a hand through his slick black hair and over his jaw. “You look amazing in that dress.”

But all I could do was smile like a damn fool.

His eyes twinkled at me, and I loved the way he made me feel. A fire burned deep inside the pit of my belly and threatened to explode at the hands of this very man. The way my mouth watered at just the sight of him and I couldn’t get enough. My heart beat a thousand miles a minute at every word that came out of his glorious mouth.

Everything was right, even though it shouldn’t be. He should be with a woman within his business and someone more experienced than me. Not a nobody in university and uncertain of where my future headed.

“Maybe this was a mistake and I...” I mumbled as my nerves got the best of me and I had second thoughts.

“What? No, Celeste...” He interrupted as he stepped forward without hesitation and the limousine driver dropped my arm. “There’s no mistaking this and the connection I feel towards you. Meeting you happened for me and I want this.”

He stood inches away from me as he brushed the back of his fingertips along my cheek and my belly quivered. The connection was there all right, and it sizzled to life. I could just imagine the gossip and pictures being captured at this very moment. And his father’s stubborn, handsome face entered my mind.

“I don’t know...” I mumbled with uncertainty.

“Come with me and let me show you what your life could be like.” He breathed as his fingertips left my cheek, travelled down the nape of my neck, along my arm and my fingers intertwined with his.

It was absolutely magical.

I peered into his eyes, and they stared into the depths of my soul. They spoke to me of promise and a tale of all I could have. Everything that could be mine if I was his. All I never thought I could have, but suddenly seemed possible and I followed him. Mr. Dylan Stark took me away in that limousine and never looked back.
