Stuck Together

Dylan’s plan to bringDaxon and I closer began, but he had no idea how close we’d actually gotten. The secret we’ve kept from him and the game we’ve played. But because of our heated tension, it has brought us to this moment.

Stuck on a first-class flight and headed straight for the mountains.

It was an early flight and Dylan couldn’t see us off. We rode the limousine together in silence, and the awkwardness bit like a knife. No arguments, no disagreements, and no butting heads. But the tension still loomed in the air and was hard to ignore.

Neither one of us looked forward to this mini vacation to be friendly, but when it came down to it, it forced us to try. We were going to be stuck in a cabin up in the woods together, and Dylan insisted on pictures of us. He wanted to see our progress for himself. There was no way out of this and we could only get through it. Together.

I sighed as I tugged at my carry-on in the overhead cabinet, but it wouldn’t budge. “Could this get any worse?”

“Do you need a hand, princess?” Daxon asked from beside me and leaned against the airplane seat. “As amusing as this is, Dylan is calling us in less than ten minutes to check in.”

“I’m fine.” I mumbled with stubbornness and pulled some more.

It must be stuck on something and if I was taller, this wouldn’t be a problem. I didn’t need his help, especially when these were his first words to me in hours. I wasn’t in the mood for his stupid games.

I tugged harder with anger at this entire situation and the bag gave way with no warning. It rushed out of the compartment and flew straight at my face. I cried out in surprise and expected it to collide with my head. My eyes closed, and I braced myself for impact, but it never came.

I peeked through one eyelid, and I was floored. Daxon held my carry-on in his hands with a smirk on his much too handsome face. He was so close I could smell his expensive cologne I was able to recognize from all of our close encounters. I hated to admit it, but it was growing on me.

“Your stubbornness is going to get you nowhere except a spanking, young lady.” Daxon breathed as his face turned serious and he peered down at me with intensity.

I raised my eyebrow and shot back. “And who’s giving me a spanking? Would that be you, daddy?”

He got so close and his eyes smoldered. “Only if you’re naughty, princess.”

My pussy shivered at his husky words of promise and my panties grew wet. Daxon hated disobedience, and I wanted to break the rules. His eyes spoke to me, and my body wanted more. I pushed his limits, tested them. I wanted to see how far I could push him until he broke.

Suddenly, Daxon’s cell phone chimed, and it stunned him back to reality as he passed my carry on into my arms. He pulled the phone out of his jacket pocket and we looked down at the screen. It was Dylan.

“Are you ready to play nice, princess?” Daxon asked as his eyebrow rose and he peered down at me.

“Do I really have a choice?” I snapped back as Daxon growled at me and hit the accept button.

Dylan’s face appeared with him in his office chair and paperwork at his desk. He was back at the office and a place I longed to be. Anywhere other than here, trapped with the only man who got under my skin.

“There you both are.” Dylan said as he smiled and wrote something on the paper in front of him. “How’s it going so far? Are you both getting along?”

“It’s going great, darling.” I lied with a fake smile.

“Fantastic! The mountains should do you both good. It’s cold, secluded and beautiful. It will bring you two closer.” Dylan said with enthusiasm.

“That’s just great!” I beamed with a fake front and cursed it all.

This was a horrible plan.

“Well, we just landed and the limousine will be waiting.” Daxon said as he wanted to cut the call short and I secretly thanked him for it. “We’ll be in touch, son.”

“Okay, dad...” Dylan breathed as he picked up the phone and his face went blurry. “Take care of my future wife and don’t forget to send me pictures of your progress.”

“If there’s any progress at all...” Daxon grumbled and didn’t lie.
