“There you are. I wondered where you got to!” Star says as she comes up to me. I smile and hold up my water. Star hooks her arm through mine. “Come on, the party is just getting good. Just remember not to be alarmed by what you see. There are still some single brothers that like to party hard. Especially with the bunnies,” she explains.

I nod. Maggie gave me the run down earlier of what exactly happens at a biker party when there are no kids. “I’ve been briefed.” I laugh.

Star nods. “Good, because we are about to play poker,” she adds.

I frown and look at her. “Poker? But I don’t have any money to put down,” I tell her.

She laughs. “Oh, it’s not that kind of poker. It’s strip poker.”

I shake my head. “Oh no. No, I can’t do that,” I say, feeling panicked.

Star stops and turns to face me. “It’s okay. You don’t have to join in if you don’t want to. It’s harmless really, and usually before any of us get too naked, the guys get all jealous and possessive and carry us off.” She gives me a sly smile.

She makes me sit at the table, and there they are all sat; Beast and Belle, Maggie and Cash, Hawk and Josie, Rage and Dixie, Ghost and Star, Scar with that Bunny stood behind him, her hand possessively placed on his shoulder, and Buzz, another brother I haven’t really met properly. I breathe a sigh of relief when I realise that Spider isn’t playing. I don’t exactly feel confident in playing as it is, but I know if he was here, I would be extremely anxious.

“So, the rules; the player with the highest hand wins and everyone else is required to remove a piece of clothing,” Ghost says, shuffling the cards. I raise my hand. Ghost smirks. “Just speak Nova, this isn’t school.”

I retract my hand and clear my throat. “Um, what if we only have 2 items of clothes on. What do I do then?” I ask.

Before Ghost can answer, Spider walks over and pulls out the chair next to me and sits down. “Don’t lose,” he states. I shift uncomfortably at having him so close.

“I’m feeling lucky! I know it,” Hawk says, clapping his hands together as Ghost deals the cards. I peek at my cards and sigh. I look up and catch Spider staring at me. I shift my body a little, turning on an angle so he can’t see my cards.

“Okay, you all know the rules. It’s five card draw. You want to switch out some cards, you do it now,” Ghost orders. Spiderswitches out 2 of his, as does Star and Maggie. Rage just sits there, staring straight ahead, not even looking at his cards.

“Not switching any?” Hawk asks, noticing I haven’t swapped out any cards.

I shake my head, trying to keep my best poker face.

“Confidence. I like it.” Scar winks.

“I think your hand might be the one to watch,” Buzz states.

I raise my brow. “Maybe it’s yours that needs to be watched?” I counter.

“Darlin’ girl, you can come and watch anything of mine anytime,” he flirts.

I can’t help it. I laugh.

“Save the cheesy chat up lines for later. It’s game time, mother fuckers. Let’s see what you’ve all got,” Star says excitedly as she turns over her cards. Everyone displays their cards, and Star fist pumps the air. “Flush. Read it and weep suckers,” she boasts. “Now strip!” she demands.

“Easy there, darlin’. Spider and Nova are still to display theirs,” Ghost states, staring across the table at us. I turn and face Spider, nodding for him to go first.

“Together,” he demands.

I nod and we both turn our cards over. I smile as I look down at mine “A full house,” I gloat.

“Oh, for fuck’s sake,” Star groans.

“Not bad, sweetheart,” Spider says in a patronising voice. That’s when I look at his cards and see a royal flush.

“How in the fuck did you manage that?” Star protests.

Spider shrugs, sipping his drink. His sharp green eyes spark with amusement. “Strip,” he demands, his gaze on mine.

I have 2 options. I can either remove my dress and sit here in just a thong, or I can remove my thong. Either way, next round there is a high chance I will be sat here completely naked. I watch as the guys all start removing their T-shirts.

“Just to say, um, well done ladies,” I congratulate. All of them are a woman’s dream. The ol’ ladies all laugh.
