I open my eyes and Sally smiles.

“What?” I mumble.

“I came down to get a drink. Why have you guys stayed up so late?” She asks.

I rub my face, trying to wake myself up a little.

“Because someone was shagging too loudly for us to go to bed.” I state.

“Oh shit, you guys heard that?” Sally asks while looking embarrassed.

“Yes. The whole of Canada heard you.” I say moving to sit up.

Gaige groans and opens his eyes.

“So the fuck bunnies have stopped then?” He asks.

I snort with laughter as Sally turns bright red.

“I am so sorry Gaige. We didn’t mean to, um, make so much noise.” Sally apologises.

“No worries.” Gaige says stretching.

“Come on, let’s get to bed.” I say to Gaige.

“Night.” Sally calls after us as we walk up the stairs to bed.

“Night Miss Shagalot!” I yell over my shoulder.

The next day Sally and I bake ready for Christmas. I’ve closed the bakery to let the girls spend a good few days off with their families. We have the Christmas tunes turned up loud and are dancing and singing around the kitchen.

“Jesus, it’s like Christmas threw up in here!” Gaige states walking in and taking a cookie.

“It’s the eve of Christmas Eve! It is Christmas!” I say excitedly.

Gaige smiles and walks to me. He takes my finger which has some chocolate on it. I’m currently making Christmas truffles. He places my finger in his mouth and licks the chocolate off. I bite my lip and smile.

“Oh Christmas cracker that’s hot!” Sally says whilst fanning herself.

Gaige kisses me.

“Love you beautiful.” He says across my lips.

“Love you too.” I reply smiling.

He grabs two more beers for him and Flynn and leaves the kitchen. I’m smiling like a complete goofball and Sally is still fanning herself with a baking tray.

“Seriously, you guys together are beyond perfect. I swear I nearly sat down with a bag of popcorn to enjoy the show!” Sally laughs.

We spend the rest of the day baking various things and don’t stop laughing and joking around the entire time.

Christmas Eve is spent pretty much the same way. We are all sitting in the living room and Sally hands us each a gift.

“Sally it’s not Christmas until tomorrow.” I point out.

“I know but these are for tonight really.” She shrugs smiling.

We all rip open our presents. They are all the same. A pair of pyjamas with lots of little images all over it.
