Lifting my head from the pillow as I came hard, I watched as Destiny fell apart, shattering against her own fingers and collapsing against the wall. Breathing heavily, she had the most serene smile on her face, one that I knew mirrored my own.
Spunk jetted over my stomach and my chest heaved with the exertion and exhilaration of my orgasm. I looked over to see Destiny was also panting as she used the wall to support herself.
I sat up, resting on my forearms and licked my lips. “Taste yourself.”
Standing up straight, Destiny took a deep breath and when her lips parted, I expected her to tell me to fuck off. Instead, she lifted two fingers and put them into her mouth, sucking on them before slowly pulling them out. She then licked her lips, winked, and left the room. She’d barely said a word, she hadn’t touched me, I hadn’t touched her, and she’d hardly looked in my direction, yet I’d come like a damn rocket.
“Night, Daisy,” I called, reaching for a tissue. “See you at breakfast.”
There was nothing except for the sound of her turning over and as I wiped my spunk away, I couldn’t help but grin.
CHAPTER 18
DESTINY
Even running lines, it was easy to see why Joey had become a favourite on the Netflix drama, Backstage Pass. He was enigmatic and sexy and even though it was only me in the room with him, he commanded my attention. I hadn’t seen the show but could imagine he would stare down the camera lens and make every woman watching fall in love with him.
Why do you think I hadn’t watched it?
He stretched out on the huge leather sofa, his t-shirt lifted, and he lazily scratched his stomach. It was flat, tanned, and smooth, with just a small trail of hair leading from his belly button and disappearing into his sweatpants. All in all, he was incredibly distracting, especially after the night before when I’d watched him come.
“I’m bored with this now,” he complained with a huge yawn. “Can we do something else?”
Rolling my eyes, I reached out my foot from the chair I was sitting on and kicked his leg. “Joey, you have two weeks after the tour before you need to be out in LA and start filming. If you don’t know the lines, they aren’t going to be happy.”
He frowned. “Come on, Dais’, I’m one of the stars. As if they’re going to be mad at me. I’m their biggest draw.”
He wasn’t wrong, he was their biggest draw, but I wasn’t going to admit it. “Bullshit. The guy who plays your brother is a much bigger star.”
Joey pushed up into a sitting position and shook his head. “He was in The Mickey Mouse Club! How the hell does that make him bigger than me? I’m one of the best drummers in the world in one of the best bands in the world.”
“Hah,” I scoffed. “Ego much.”
Again, he was right but no way on earth would I ever tell him.
“The point is, Daisy, I’m bored.” He dropped his bare feet to the floor. “Please can we do something else?”
“If you stop calling me Daisy, then I might,” I grumbled. “It gets right on my tits.”
He smirked. “Duly noted but probably won’t stop me.”
When he was playful, like he was at that moment, it was like the room was filled with sunshine. The warmth and the glow was infectious. It shone a light on everything and everyone surrounding him. It even made my stupid heart miss a beat.
“What do you want to do then?” I asked with a roll of my eyes, as if he was annoying.
Joey shrugged. “Play a game?”
“What sort of game?” Dropping my feet to the floor, I smirked. I hated that he made me feel light. It was my life’s ambition to die a miserable, decrepit, old woman but Joey often made it hard. When he was giving me orgasms and when he was happy.
“Not that sort of game.” A line appeared between his eyes as he frowned. “I’m shocked at you, Miss Cooper.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Says the man who was yelling for me to get in his bed last night.”
“I was just cold and needed warming up. Plus, I’m afraid of the dark.”
“Coming from a man who loves misery, that’s a strange statement.”
Joey’s eyes narrowed. “How dare you? I’m the epitome of joy and hopefulness.”
