I licked along his neck, then nipped and sucked a nipple. He arched into my touch and with my arm surrounding him, I made it impossible for him to move, only feel…only to let me take from him what I needed.

There wasn’t a sliver of skin I wasn’t going to taste before this night was over. He dug his nails into my hair, scratching deliciously along my scalp, and my tongue traveled down to his stomach, dipping into his navel and then engulfing his cock into my mouth.

“Oh, fuck.” He tried to keep quiet since there wasn’t soundproofing in the safe house but honestly, I didn’t care. They could all listen if they wanted to. Nothing mattered except drowning myself in my vicious viper.

I pulled away, his whimpers like a siren’s call I was desperate to obey. I pushed his knees up, exposing his hole and dove in like a hungry man.

“Shep, holy fucking…” His words turned to mumbles and I glanced up, a smile playing on my lips as he shoved his fist into his mouth.

A finger followed my tongue, then two. I worked him open until he was practically crying for my dick.

“Look at me,” I ordered. His green eyes immediately found mine and I slid inside him. His lids started to fall, but I couldn’t allow that. “Keep your eyes on me.”

He snapped them open as I slid in and out slowly. It was as torturous for him as it was for me but damn, I wanted this snapshot in time to last forever.

“Don’t come.”

“Shep, I can’t…”

I leaned closer, capturing his mouth, and slammed into him. “You come when I come.”

“Fuck,” he growled and met my thrusts.

“That’s right, babe, fuck me back.”

We held a punishing pace, the emotion in his eyes, worry, fear, and lust mirrored everything I was feeling over every inch of my body.

“I love you, Shepard.” A tear leaked from the corner of JJ’s eye.

“I love you, Jaxon. Now come for me.”

Never in the world had I seen anything as beautiful as JJ coming apart. Knowing I gave him that, feeling his love in every touch, kiss, and moan. In my darkest moments, it would be this memory right here that would keep home in my heart.

The morning was cloudy with rain threatening to make it a miserable day. The fact that we were all breaking up into three factions for this was unnerving. I knew Gabe would keep JJ and Mason safe. Angel and I would get Wes here and into the basement where we could get the answers we needed. Nick and Noel would be our eyes in the sky, so to speak, and Four and Maxwell would be safe here.

I wanted to fast forward twenty-four hours to when this day and the whole ordeal would be behind us, and Four would be safe and we’d be home.

“Four.” JJ moved to where the man was sitting on the couch. “Aziza is going to video chat with you in an hour, Noel said he’d set it up so you can talk. Is that okay?”

“Yes.”

“Good.”

“Be safe.” Four stood, and for a brief second I thought he was going to hug JJ, but instead he stood in front of me.

“Four?”

“Two is dangerous. Do not think of him as the boy who worked for you; that is not him. Inside he is me, though. Forced to be there, knows no different.” He swallowed and I waited patiently. I understood he didn’t like talking and it was awkward for him.

“He is conditioned.” He looked over to JJ. “You gave me an order that time, remember?”

JJ nodded. “I do. I said stand down, and you did.”

Four flinched and faced me. “Use that. If it doesn’t work, be ready to fight. Subdue him, do whatever you have to. Two is trained to fight to the death, even if it’s his own. Never forgetthat. He won’t see you as anything other than a target. He can’t, it’s not in his makeup. You have to also look at him the same if you want to survive.”

I placed my hand on Four’s shoulder, glad when he didn’t flinch like he had so many times before. “Thank you, Four. I’ll remember all of that.”

He spun on his heel and went to the couch.
