Page 24 of Revelations

I get that she was easily overwhelmed with everyone here. Our family is a lot to take in when it’s not everyone at one time. When you get us all together and everyone is ready to celebrate one of our family members being home after being gone for years, it’s even more chaotic than normal. Genesis isn’t used to being around a ton of people like this and it will take some getting used to. Plus, she is still healing and I’m trying to take all of this into consideration, but it doesn’t feel as if that’s what’s going on here. I truly feel as if there is something more she’s not ready to talk to us about.

“Raptor, what’s goin’ on?” Vault asks, walking up to our table and looking right at me.

“Genesis and Matie aren’t here,” I answer simply as I look around the table while Dylan grabs my hand and laces our fingers together. “I can’t help but think she’s gonna run and used her nervousness about bein’ here with everyone as an excuse to put her plan into motion. Genesis has had a lot of time to think over the last several weeks and that’s never a good thing when your life is changed as much as hers was in a short amount of time.”

“You really think she’s gonna try to leave the compound on her own with Matie? How would she even get him out of the pack ‘n play? She can’t use one of her arms yet,” Dylan asks me, a worried tone to his voice as he looks at me instead of anyone else.

“I don’t think Genesis is gonna care about that. If she wants to disappear, she’ll do whatever it takes to get it done,” I answer him as my phone starts vibrating in my pocket. Pulling it out, I see King’s name on the screen. “King, why are you callin’?”

“Got someone out at the gate of the compound. Says she’s goin’ to one of the dancer’s house for a few days with our family in town. I don’t believe that’s what’s goin’ on here. Think she’s runnin’ and usin’ our distraction as a way of disappearin’,” King informs me as a smile fills my face with the knowledge that Genesis has no clue that we’re not letting her leave here and she’s about to find that out.

“We’ll handle it, King. Thanks for callin’,” I tell him as he starts laughing low enough so no one else will hear. “What the fuck are you laughin’ about?”

“Deegan is goin’ off on her. He’s all puffed up like a big brother who just found out his baby sister is gonna be goin’ on her first date. Tellin’ her that she’ll have no protection if she goes out there alone and shit. He’s pullin’ no punches with her, Raptor. Genesis is about a second away from cryin’ and I knowit’s killin’ Deegan but he’s doin’ what it takes to keep her here so she’s safe. So that Matie isn’t hurt. And he just told her that you and Devil are head over heels in love with her,” King informs me as my smile gets larger because I can see Deegan doing that shit.

Deegan is a lot like Genesis in certain ways. It takes a lot for him to open up to anyone here. Even Ghost who is his sponsor. I’ve seen the two of them talking more than once since Deegan’s been here, and he gives the bare minimum in details about his life. Ghost has tried everything to get to know him and it’s only just starting to work. Since I’m sure he sees so much of himself in Genesis, he’d go out of his way to protect her and wouldn’t give a shit about what it takes to ensure her safety. Even if it means she hates him for a short period of time.

“We’ll be out in a second,” I tell King as I go to stand from my seat.

“I’ll bring her in. You two be ready to talk to her without everyone around. We’ll be inside in a minute. I’m not sure if you’re gonna need to get Doc here to check on her arm. She doesn’t look as if she’s in pain, but I can’t tell. There’s no way in hell she packed, got Matie in his car seat, and then put the car seat in the stroller with only one hand,” King says, hanging up on me before I can respond.

“Is she okay?” Dylan asks, standing next to me as I watch Liz make her way across the common room with her eyes locked on us.

“She’s okay. Gettin’ yelled at by Deegan about her not bein’ safe if she leaves the compound. King says he’s actin’ like an overprotective brother whose baby sister is about to go on her first date. King’s gonna bring her inside so we can talk to her. Apparently Deegan told her that we’re head over heels in love with her. I think he’s right though. She’s usin’ the two of us fixin’ things with our relationship as an excuse to get away and giveus space to work on ourselves. She truly doesn’t see that we also want to be with her,” I inform Dylan as Slim and Killer make their way over to our table to find out what’s going on.

“Okay. I guess we need to take things up a notch with her so she understands with no uncertainty that we both want her and will go to extreme lengths to keep her with us. I don’t know what we’ll have to do, but I’m down for not givin’ her an ounce of space so she knows she belongs here as much as anyone else in this room or clubhouse,” Dylan says, a smirk on his face with some ways about keeping Genesis close.

I might not know exactly what’s going on in his mind, but I’m sure it’s something devious that will end up with the three of us naked in a bed. I’m not going to bitch about that happening. I want to worship every inch of her body and show her what she does to me every fucking day. If we have to keep her in bed for days, only getting up to take care of Matie, that will be more than fine with me. Dylan and I can spend hours each day showing Genesis exactly how we feel in the one way we know how—our bodies doing the talking for us as we fulfill every single need she has.

I turn when the clubhouse door opens to find Genesis pushing the stroller one handed. She doesn’t look at anyone as she moves through the tables toward the kitchen. I don’t really want her in there since that’s where Liz just went, but I’m not about to call her out in front of everyone. Genesis has her pride and this has already been a huge day for her. If we push her out of her comfort zone too much, she’s liable to run again and this time she’ll find a way to do so where no one stops her. King follows her as far as the door of the kitchen before he heads over to his parents and sisters. I nod at him as Dylan and I wait a minute before we head for the kitchen to talk to Genesis about things.

Dylan and I make our way over to the kitchen and stop just outside the door when we hear a conversation taking place inside. Liz is being a bitch and I’m not sure how Genesis is going to deal with this situation. We need to see how she handles herself though. Every ol’ lady I know has had to deal with the Phantom girls, or club girls, at one point or another.

“You think you’re hot shit, keepin’ Raptor and Devil wrapped around your fat fucking finger like you actually have a chance with either one of them. I will be their ol’ lady and it’s time for you to move out of their house and get the fuck away from them,” Liz says, her voice harsh as I peek in the kitchen and see her up in Genesis’ face. “My men are good and that’s the only reason you’ve had their attention for as long as you have. That fucking brat has no business being around the clubhouse either. Kids don’t fucking belong here for any reason. That will change once I’m their ol’ lady.”

“Oh, you think you’re gonna be their ol’ lady. I don’t know who the hell you think you are, but if I know anything about the men of this club, they don’t want a woman every other man they’re close to has fucked. You spread your legs like it’s your job and that’s your choice to make. I might not be the skinniest girl or pretty at all, but at least I know my worth and can see when a man actually wants me. You’re so fucking desperate to be an ol’ lady that you show that desperation by making everyone around you believe two men with their own minds want you when they don’t. You have no confidence in yourself and you will never be the queen of the club. That’s Annabell.

“Not only are you desperate to be an ol’ lady, but you’re fucking pathetic and delusional. Annabell will rip you to fucking shreds for thinking you can make any rules for the clubhouse. Especially one where you say kids aren’t allowed here. Family is an important part of this club from what I’ve heard. That meansthe kids will always be welcome here and you obviously hate children. So, I suggest you go back to whatever hole you crawled out of and figure out a new way to live your life so you can be happy. No one wants a miserable woman around. And if anyone hears you talking like this, you won’t even be allowed here. I know there have been multiple women kicked out and you’re no different from them,” Genesis says, her voice hard and cold in a way I’ve never heard from her before.

“I’m not fucking delusional, skank. And I’m certainly not desperate. Raptor and Devil aremymen and they’re just taking a break from me to help out the poor, fat slut while you heal from the beating you deserved. You know, Ricky won’t give up until he gets what he wants. And I have another ace up my sleeve. All I need to do is get at least one of them in bed, fuck them, and then pass this baby off as theirs. Once they believe I’m pregnant by one of them, I’ll get everything I want. You out of the way, the club doing everything I want them to, and a man who loves me. You’ll never have anything because you’re a fucking whale with no sense of fashion or knowing how to take care of yourself,” Liz states, rage coursing through me at the cold and calloused way she’s outlining her plan to Genesis.

“You fucking slut!” Genesis yells seconds before I hear some kind of commotion.

Devil and I enter the kitchen to find Genesis beating the hell out of Liz one handed. Every single time Liz tries to get a hit in or pull Genesis’ hair, our girl fucking plows into her even harder. We stand and let Genesis do her thing for a few seconds before snapping back to reality. I’m sorry but seeing her beat the shit out of Liz is sexy as fuck as I rush over to them and pull Genesis into my arms.

“Let me go!” she yells, her voice high and tight as she tries to fight against my hold on her.

“Angel, you need to calm down. You’ve been usin’ your arm way too much today and I don’t want you to hurt yourself by doin’ somethin’ you shouldn’t be,” I tell her, trying to keep my voice calm and gentle as she starts to lose the fight while melting into my body as Devil stands in front of her to block Liz from her sight.

“I’m sorry,” Genesis says, her voice wavering with all the pent-up emotion she’s been trying to hold in over the last few weeks since Ricky attacked her. “I just lost myself for a minute when she was talking about the two of you and everyone else in this club. She’s not a good person, Raptor. She wants to control the club and thinks she’ll be above Annabell once you two make her your ol’ lady.”

“Trust me, we heard everythin’, Sweetness. Liz won’t get away with anythin’ she just said to you. She will never be an ol’ lady. Raptor and I have never even been with her. She’s made this entire shit up in her mind and we’ve done everythin’ we can to put a stop to it,” Devil tells her, placing his hands on either side of her face as he leans down and presses his lips to hers in a kiss.

Genesis doesn’t hesitate to deepen the kiss as she places her hands on his chest. My cock grows hard in an instant watching the two of them together while I hold her in my arms.

“How can either one of you believe this bitch?” Liz speaks up, reminding us she can’t stand it when she’s not the center of attention. “She attacked me and you’re both taking up for her? I’m the one you want. She’s using some kind of spell on you both. Can’t you see that she’s playing you?”

“You’re the one playin’ games, Liz. We heard everythin’ you said to Genesis. Includin’ your plan to make the club your bitch when you become our ol’ lady. And you obviously have somethin’ to do with Ricky since you mentioned his name andno one in this club knows anythin’ about him with the exception of the guys. I know the men here good enough to know you didn’t hear about him from any of them. If I recall, no one’s been fuckin’ you for months now .We all see you’re nothin’ more than a fuckin’ skank with an agenda. The only reason you’ve been allowed to stay here until now is because we don’t just randomly kick people out of the clubhouse. I would say your days here are numbered. And as for the baby you’re supposedly pregnant with, I highly doubt that’s the case. Last week you were all given pregnancy tests by Doc and none of them came up positive. So, that’s another lie,” Devil says once he pulls his lips from Genesis and turns to face Liz who’s still on the floor in front of us with fake tears rolling down her face.
