Shit.
“Morning,” I say, giving her a smirk.
“Hi,” Molly says and glances away.
What the hell happened to this girl? There’s a sensitivity about her, at least with me, that speaks to someone hurting her.
I don’t like it.
I like to see my lover’s face.
I intend to get underneath her skin and open her up. Not just sexually, but emotionally.
I want to know her. Understand her. Connect more with her.
Also, more sex.
I’m not a saint.
“So golf?” I offer, glancing around. I figure that could give me a chance to connect with Harlow to see if she’s spoken to Donald yet.
It’s been a couple of days and I’m getting fidgety to find out if he knows anything. I’ve messaged her a couple of times and got vague answers.
“Golf or a winery tour?” Knox adds. “The girls want to do a spa day so it will be just us guys. I’ve booked both so we can split up into groups or do one.”
“Leilani and I are staying home to look after the kids,” Addison says, lifting her broken arm.
“I’m happy to stay behind.” Hunter tells his fiancé.
“No. You go and have fun with the guys,” Addison says, giving him a smile. “Soon you’ll be a boring married man.”
“You wish.” He winks.
I smirk and look away, sensing a private moment between the couple.
“I want to go on the winery tour,” Harper says.
“Me too,” Molly chimes. “I’m restless. Not sure I could sit for hours and get pampered.”
Really?
Did I not tire her out enough?
Happy to drag her back upstairs, but I’m not sure she’d appreciate me doing that in front of everyone.
I’m starting to not care.
Payton waits for Logan and Emma, Aidan and Lily, Amelia and Jack to share their preferences.
“I’m always up for a spa day but I can go either way,” Amelia says. “I know you’d be keen on the golf, honey.”
“I’m a golf guy.” Jack nods.
“I’m kid free for the day. I want to go on the winery tour.” Olivia grins.
“Maybe I do, too.” Payton glances up at Knox. “Did you want this to be a boy’s day?”
“Sweetheart, I’m marrying you. I want you next to me every day.”
