Four years have passed since we left the chaotic yet cherished days of college behind us. Life has transformed in ways I could never have imagined. Lyric is now a dedicated nurse, making a difference in people's lives every day.

Archer is deep into law school, driven and focused, while Levi is tackling the rigorous demands of medical school. And me? I’m a stay-at-home dad to our three beautiful children. I never thought I’d choose this path, but watching our kids grow up is a blessing I wouldn’t trade for the world.

The morning sun filters through the curtains, casting a warm glow over our bustling household. Lyric is already up, quietly getting ready for her shift. Her hair is pulled back in a neat bun and her scrubs are crisp and clean. She moves with the practiced efficiency of a nurse who knows she’s about to face a busy day.

She loves her job at the hospital, working in the emergency department. She feels good about making personal connections with her patients and having the ability to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Archer and Levi are in the kitchen, Archer with his nose buried in a hefty law textbook while Levi sips his coffee, skimming through his notes for the day. Archer attends Sterling Heights’ law school, while Levi is starting his rotations at the hospital today.

Our eldest, Eli, now six years old, bursts into the room with the boundless energy of a young boy. His blue eyes sparkle with excitement as he talks about the adventures he plans to have at school today. He’s a bright kid, always curious and full of life.

Beside him, his sister Sophie follows close behind. She’s four, and a little quieter than her brother, but she’s got a thoughtful demeanor and a passion for drawing pictures. Her brown curls bounce as she walks, holding her favorite stuffed bunny, Mr. Whiskers.

I pick up our youngest from his high chair. Noah’s chubby cheeks split into a wide grin as I set him down and he toddles around clutching a toy car, his latest obsession.

As Lyric kisses each of us goodbye, she whispers to me, “I’ll miss you all today.” She’s incredible, balancing her demanding job with being an amazing mother.

After Lyric leaves, I turn my attention to getting the kids ready for the day. Breakfast is a mix of chaos and laughter, with Eli trying to sneak extra syrup on his pancakes, Sophie meticulously arranging her fruit slices and Noah making a mess with his cereal.

Once everyone is fed, I drop Eli off at school and then head back home with Sophie and Noah. Our days are filled with activities—playdates, storytime and lots of imaginative play. Sophie loves to draw, so we spend hours creating colorful masterpieces together. Noah, on the other hand, is all about cars and anything with wheels. He zooms around the living room, making engine noises that bring a smile to my face.

In between the fun, I manage the household chores, making sure everything runs smoothly. I used to worry about not putting my degree in economics to use, but being here, watching ourkids grow and being a part of their everyday lives feels like the most important job in the world.

The afternoons are a blur of snacks, naps and preparing for dinner. When Eli returns from school, the house comes alive again with his stories and laughter. Archer and Levi join us in the evening, their faces lighting up as they see the kids. We sit down for dinner as a family, sharing our days and enjoying each other’s company.

After dinner, we have our bedtime routine. Baths, storytime and tucking the kids into bed. As I read their favorite book, I can see the love and contentment in their eyes. They feel safe and cherished, and that’s all I ever wanted for them.

Once the kids are asleep, Lyric returns home, tired but happy. We sit together, catching up on our days and planning for the future. Our life is hectic, but it’s filled with love and joy. We’ve come a long way from those college days and I wouldn’t change a thing.

As we head for bed, Lyric gets a sparkle in her eyes and I chase her up the stairs as we go, bursting into the room to find Archer and Levi waiting for us.

“How was work, Songbird?” Archer asks, patting the bed next to him. Lyric climbs in, stretching out.

“Good. All is good today. We had enough staff, which is rare and no one died, which is even rarer. I’m in a great mood.”

Levi grins, coming out of the bathroom with his face freshly shaved. He’d been growing a beard, but Sophie was complaining earlier that it was scratching her so he shaved it off for her.

“I saw you at the hospital,” he says, coming up behind her and wrapping his arms around her. “You looked so sexy in those purple scrubs. I could barely contain myself.”

“Oh, yeah?” Lyric asks, turning to face him and giving him a soft kiss.

“We’ve been waiting for you here so patiently,” I tell her, stroking a hand over her thigh. I love her thick, plush thighs and her generous curves. I love every single inch of her. “We missed our sexy wife.”

“Well, she’s here now,” Lyric teases, leaning in to kiss the column of my throat. A shiver runs through me and I reach down, palming her breasts beneath the fabric of her cotton shirt.

She arches into the touch as Levi presses into her from behind, rutting lazily against her ass.

“Do you think you might be up for a little fun?” Archer whispers, reaching out to stroke her cheek.

“Oh, God, yes,” Lyric admits, biting her lip. Moonlight filters through the room, casting an illuminating glow over her, making her look utterly radiant.

We start stripping down, shedding clothes in a hurry as we attack Lyric with kisses and sensual touches. It’s been a while since we’ve had a chance to connect, with how busy our lives have gotten. Lyric throws her head back and cries out as my mouth descends on her breast, sucking on her pert nipple with vigor.

She was so sexy when she was carrying Sophie and Noah. Her breasts grew even bigger and I love how large they are now, so heavy and yet so soft.
