With a nod, he backs toward the door. “Then consider me gone, boss lady. I’ll make sure the guys don’t bug you through the group chat.”

The lengths these boys will go to just so I’ll agree to come over. “Fine. I’ll be there tonight.”

He shoots me a wide grin as he leaves my office. “Good! See you tonight.”

It’s absolutely too easy to say ‘yes’ to these boys.

I laugh, putting my phone away as I walk out to my car. A sharp pain shoots up my leg, and I wince. Leaning up against the car, I lift my leg to wiggle my ankle and groan. As I’m rolling it around, I look up at the sky. Appears the weather is about tochange. Spending so much time in Florida made me forget how much my ankle hates the cold weather changes.
