“Now, undress me.” I wanted his hands on my body.

“Yes, alpha.”

After tonight, he wouldn’t need Mr. Happy ever again.

Chapter Twenty

Ollie

My mate was incredible.

We may have started on a bumpy path, but over the last few months, he had proven that I could and should trust him.

He wasn’t perfect. No one is. But he was perfect for me.

I smiled at him as he massaged my feet while I ate my favorite sushi and watched my famous television show. Rayne and Zander still had the kids until tonight, and we were just enjoying being alone and solidifying our bond after my kidnapping.

Plus, sometimes an omega likes to be pampered.

Wolf could do incredible things with just his hands. I closed my eyes and savored every second. Every touch, every tingle that made its way through my body. His hands were perfect.

He kissed my ankle and worked his way up my body. It was a great idea to lounge around naked. We didn’t have to undress.

Warm, moist heat enveloped my cock.

And sometimes, an omega liked to be pleasured.

GSC worked hard to uncover Sean’s plans and build their case against him. There wasn’t much more for our family to do but sit back and wait for them to serve justice.

“His family comes from ancient money.” Alec sat on our couch, filling us in on the status of their case. “He used their connections to the underground to hire people. Thanks to him, we have enough evidence to bring his parents in for a few unsolved crimes we reopened.”

“Shit.” I didn’t think he was capable of bringing down so many people.

“When the agents entered Sean’s apartment, they found alarming evidence. Wolf wasn’t the first alpha he’d done this to. He had a whole library full of alphas’ information. Pictures, diaries of their daily comings and goings, lists of who they slept with, and even their family connections. He even created an app that generated pictures of their kids’ appearance. Wolf was just his latest obsession.”

“Goddess.” Chills ran up my arms, thinking about what could have happened with someone so unhinged. He had my babies.

“We found a wedding album planned out. Caterers, florists, DJs, and reception halls were booked. He had tuxedos in the closet and vows written. This man was the definition of obsessed.”

“What does GSC have planned for him?” Wolf sank back in his chair. Unease radiated off him through our bond.

“They’ve decided they’re going to keep him at the facility in Maine while they research more into his past. They have him under psychiatric care. We’re hoping he’ll be able to get the help needed.”

“I’d love to say he deserved a much worse fate for things he’d done. He scared the shit out of us and put us in danger.”

My dragon huffed in agreement.

“He is responsible for some crimes. Lives were taken in the process of covering his tracks. And he will face repercussions for that. GSC needs to make sure that he receives a fair trial.”

He threatened me and my kids. He wanted my mate. “I’ll never forget or forgive him for what he put us through. I want to put it all behind us—”

“The GSC will make sure he won’t ever put anyone in danger again,” Alec said. “Now, just focus on your family. Sean is in the past and will never get close to you again.”

“You’d think that with his family and their money, he could have gotten help.” I didn’t understand how an unstable omega had gone untreated for so long.

“You would think that anyone in this day and age would get help when necessary. Unfortunately, his family didn’t want to admit that anyone in their bloodline could have problems that needed to be addressed. Families in their world of influence, who have money and connections as they do, would rather sweep all the problems under the rug. They hide their skeletons and pretend everything is perfect.”
