Our swords crossed. I wanted to go easy on her but, whatever technology was in her armor, it improved her coordination. From the stumbling, weak girl from yesterday, today I faced a warrior. She could stand in front of anyone and not only hold her ground but win.
The swords moved fast, creating a blur or sparks and energy. I attacked Pandora. She met every one of my strikes with strong energy. Pandora moved, jumped, flipped. It was amazing. What I had assumed would be a frustrating session turned out to be a test of my skills and endurance. The dance ended after several minutes when, with sweat dripping on my back, the tip of my sword pressed against Pandora’s throat.
“I win,” I whispered with a touch of humor in my tone.
“Look down.”
Her sword pressed against my lower cock, the blade resting at the root. With one flick of the sword, she could cut off both cocks and I’d bleed to dead in a few minutes.
A slow clap broke the moment. “That was awesome!”
Pandora
Nephthys helped me with each strike. She instantaneously taught me what I had to do. I felt as if I had known these moves my entire life.
Just when we both started giggling and I hoped it turn into a hot daylight tumbling on the grass with Hassym, a clap interrupted us.
“Good, good. You’ll probably last longer than I expected.”
Princess Kya approached. Gems covered her. Her body dripped in gold, silver, and a red metal not familiar to me. She was alone, but I knew her guards were close by and ready to protect her. What would happen if I lopped off her head? Would this stop?
“Let her gloat,” Nephthys whispered in my mind. “She thinks she can use you to fulfill her goals. She’s everything that’s wrong with the ruling class.”
The Bastet pushed the Ra aside. The Ra are not focused on ruling and are more obsessed with their own spiritual self.
Kya looked beautiful, I had to give her that. The mix between the human and cat features created a special type of beauty I never thought would work. All the creatures on this planet where beautiful in a way I didn’t expect. As soon as all this ended, I hoped to explore the sands with Ashok and Hassym and, who knows, even Ramy, Edoo, and Eray.
“Life never ends,” Nephthys whispered. “Souls return again and again.”
Princess Kya stopped in front of me. “Honored Pandora Sky, the one foretold by the Prophecy, I hope you are well. I have good news for you. The stars aligned in an auspicious way. The doors to the Pyramid of Doom are going to open tonight as soon as the Three Sons of Ra meet the two moons.”
I took a deep breath. Okay. I should say something, right?
“I’m ready, Princess Kya.”
Her face showed surprise. She had a tough time hiding it. “Good, good. The servants will prepare you for the ceremony.”
Princess Kya turned her back and left. Anger highlighted the way she moved. I was always good at reading body language.
“Oh, damn.” Hassym seemed sad. Hassym was so handsome. His big, onyx-colored eyes looked like two deep pools of darkness. “I’m so sorry. I hoped we’d have more time!”
“I’m good.”
Hassym took me into his arms. The move was fast and I loved it. Everything he felt but couldn’t tell me melted into that hug.
“It’s going to be fine, Hassym. I’ll survive. I’ll step out of the Pyramid and I’ll be stronger.”
“I know, Pandora. I’m so proud of you. I was horrible to you. I threw everything that was bad at you, and still you stayed here and conquered not only the situation but….”
The words hung in the air as May, followed by a small group of servants, stepped closer.
“Pandora Sky.” She addressed me formally. May bowed all the way down, her forehead touching the ground in front of my feet. I wanted to take the hand of my friend and lift her up, but that would put her in a tough situation and I didn’t want that. The small army of servants were all on the hard, dusty forest ground in the training area. May stood and the servants followed her lead.
“Pandora Sky, we are here to help you get ready for the sacred ceremony of entering the Games.” May turned to Hassym. “Honored Hass, you can’t follow into the Sacred Temple.”
May took my arm and the servants followed. We walked through the corridors of the palace.
I never stopped wondering how beautiful this place was. The tall arches. The minarets. The towers. The gold and silver doors. The colorful paintings and sculptures. They all made me feel as if I was inside one of my favorite movies from the time of the Ancient Egypt. The sweet scents, like cinnamon and honey, made me think of food.
