I can't fault him for asking the question. It's been on my mind for a while now. It's been three months. Three fucking months and nothing. Not a fucking clue as to where Jayne or Micah could be. Would he keep her alive this long? It would be better for her if he hadn't. That's a fucking long time to torture someone. But for the sake of my woman and our son, having Jayne alive is the only option for us. If Jayne doesn't make it, Mallory's going to be fucking devastated.

"I fuckin' hope she is."

"Same, brother," Py growls. "Here's fuckin' hopin' that piece of shit in the trunk will give us the location to where his son and Jayne are.”

The rest of the ride to the farmhouse is silent. I'm stuck in my fucking head about this shit. My woman is hurting and there's nothing I can fucking do about it.

I watch as Wrath and Preach get Fintan in position. They're not gentle about it. They're making sure they get their licks in as they strap him to a chair.

Pyro's cell rings. "Yeah?" he answers, his eyes hard. "You've found them?" he asks whoever's on the other line. "They hurt?"

Fuck, I sure as fuck hope not. If Jess is hurt, Mallory's going to lose her shit. She still feels a lot of fucking guilt for not opening up about what the hell went down with Jess when they were teens. She was fourteen, for fuck's sake. She was alone and had no one to talk to. She did what she thought was best for her and her friend, and knowing what that fucker Thomas did, I know he'd have hurt Mallory if she had told anyone about what was going on.

"We're on our way. Are Jess and Callie okay?" Pyro questions. "Fuck. Alright, we'll be there as soon as we can."

Almost as one, we move back to the truck. "That was Maverick. They finally have their location. No one has any idea if the women are hurt, but they've had confirmation that Thomas and the women are there."

I roll my shoulders, glad this fucking thing is almost over. Once we deal with Fintan and Thomas, we'll find Micah. We'll find out where that cunt is and then I'm going to kill him. I'm going to take my time and methodically kill him.

We arrive at an old as fuck cemetery. Everyone is here, waiting, their faces hard and filled with anger. We exit the truck and I move toward Ace, who's waiting with the rest of my NewYork brothers. Fuck, it's good to have them here. It's been a while. I'm hoping they'll stay and help me find Jayne and Micah.

"How you doin', brother?" Ace questions. "You good?"

"I’ll be better once all this shit is over with."

He nods. "I get that. Gotta tell you, the women are here and they're dyin' to meet your son and woman."

I grin. Despite the shit storm we're in, I fucking grin. "She'd love that."

My woman loves that our son is surrounded by family, that he's got a lot of people who'll love him. Mallory wants Shay to have a huge family, something that neither of us had.

"Stephen," Danny, Denis' eldest son, says, moving toward Stephen. "Look, man?—"

"What's he done to her?" Stephen growls. "Tell me what the fuck is going on."

"She's tied to a table. I could only see that. Da told me to wait back for you to get here."

Stephen nods, his jaw clenched. "Denis," he calls out, his voice thick and filled with emotion.

I'd be the fucking same if the tables were turned. Jess is his wife. I'd be losing my shit right now if it were Mal in Jess' place.

"Here," Denis replies, stepping forward. "From what Danny says, Callie isn't injured. Just tied up."

"But you'll check that yourself," Stephen replies, his gaze firmly on the mausoleum his wife is currently tied up in.

"I'll be with you," Mav says, placing his hand on Stephen's shoulder. "Denis has Callie and we'll make sure Thomas doesn't get away."

"I'll need you to take him down, Mav," Stephen grunts, his lips pulled into a snarl.

It doesn't take us long to surround the mausoleum. We wait, watching as they enter the building. It's like waiting for an eternity, but when they exit the building, I see Denis holding hiswife. She's got tears streaming down her face, but other than that, she seems as though she's uninjured. Stephen emerges next and he's holding Jess in his arms, a jacket wrapped around her. She's unconscious. Seeing her like that reminds me of Mallory when she crashed into the clubhouse.

I need to be with my woman. I can't fucking deal with standing around and waiting for shit to happen. I know my brothers have this shit in hand. "I'm headin' home," I tell Pyro once everyone begins to disperse, most of them heading toward the hospital to check in on Jess and Callie.

Pyro nods. "Go. We'll let you know if we have a location on Micah. Go be with your family, brother."

I don't wait around. I jump into my truck knowing my brothers will be using the van to escort Thomas to Stephen's farmhouse. I drive like a crazy fucker to get to the house, needing to make sure my family is safe.

Mallory crashesinto me the moment I step into the house. I lift her into my arms and she wraps her legs around my waist. Fuck, having her in my arms is the best feeling in the fucking world. "You're home," she breathes. "Is Jess okay?"
