She needed it too.
Lilian angled her head away from him, baring her neck.
Night swept his lips over it and then eased his fangs into her, tearing a gasp from her throat that quickly gave way to a moan as the sting of them piercing her became incredible pleasure.
His first pull on her blood tipped her over the edge.
She cried out as a warm wave crashed over her, as she quivered around his cock, her breath leaving her in a rush. Night groaned into her throat and joined her, plunging as deep as she could take him as he spilled. He pulled on her blood in time with each throb of his length, and gods, it made her feel incredible. Pleasure hit her with each wave, rocking her, the intensity of it building as Night continued to feed from her.
Oh gods.
She covered her mouth and muffled a cry as she climaxed again, the feel of him feeding triggering a second release. Her cheeks burned.
Night withdrew his fangs, quickly swiped his tongue over her throat, and leaned back, his gaze on her face only making her blush harder. She couldn’t look at him. It was too embarrassing.
“Don’t you dare say anything,” she muttered.
Risked a glance at him.
His cocksure smile was far too enchanting.
It became a full-blown grin as he rolled her over, coming to rest on top of her. She was tempted to find a way to wipe it off his face, but he was gorgeous when he smiled like that. She savoured this rare glimpse of his other side instead, sure it wouldn’t last, not while everything with his brothers and the demons and her coven was still hanging over them.
Lilian lured him down to her, her fingers gently cupping his nape.
He took the hint and kissed her. Soft. Slow. Reverent. Did he love her?
This kiss made her feel as if he did.
“You should get some more sleep,” she whispered against his lips between kisses, before he got himself and her fired up again.
He stilled and sighed, and even though he clearly didn’t want to, he rolled off her.
Lilian scooted to the edge of the bed. “I’ll just go use the bathroom and then I’ll be back.”
She hurried to the bathroom, quickly took care of cleaning herself up, and then came back to him.
He was sound asleep beneath the covers.
Lilian’s gaze shifted to his neck.
She needed to know if he had been telling her the truth and he’d had nothing to do with the attack on her coven. She could capture his memories with a spell while she slept, one that would allow her to show her coven they were wrong about him. She needed to clear his name. Her coven wouldn’t stop coming after him. They wanted revenge. Until they had it, they wouldn’t stop.
One part of her heart argued that she should ask him for his blood.
The rest argued that he would refuse her.
Because taking blood from him would bind them.
She didn’t care that it would make her his servant. It was the only way to clear his name, and she needed to do that. She needed to protect him from her coven. Nothing other than proof that he was innocent would stop them from coming after him and trying to kill him. She didn’t want to lose him, so she was going to risk his wrath and do this.
Lilian stroked her fingers across his brow. Maybe being owned by him wouldn’t be so bad.
She swept her fingers across his lower lip, revealing his fangs were still down, and steadied her pounding heart. He was going to be angry with her. She gently pressed his lower lip to the tip of his fang and he flinched in his sleep as it pierced it. She released his lip and stared at it, watching the bead of blood bloom. She would find a way to make him forgive her.
Lilian lowered her head and kissed him.
Capturing that drop of blood with her tongue.
