“Yes, Madd. Yes, fuck. I’m coming!” She moaned loudly, tossing her head back.

At her exclamation, I let go, and my orgasm crashed through me. My muscles tensed as my cock twitched, my cum spilling out in thick ropes inside her. I laid across her, panting as I caught my breath.

“Fuck, we’re good at that,” she teased.

“The best.”

Smiling, I kissed her once and stumbled back. I grabbed my shirt and wiped off my dick and then her. Wading it up, I helped her off the bench and back into her clothes.

“What were you doing to your bike anyway?” I asked, helping her with her shoes.

“Grayson said he hid one of those noisemakers on it, so I was looking for where it could be. I don’t want to ride tomorrow, and it suddenly goes off.”

“Pretty sure he was lying.”

“Well, I needed to be sure,” she huffed. “This charity ride is important. We haven’t seen some of the old Mavericks in a while. Plus, it’s Hank's retirement. It means a lot.”

“I know, Princess. It will be perfect.” I kissed her head and promised to question Grayson until he admitted it was a prank.

Darcie had worked hard to ensure her father’s last official ride was good. He’d been cancer-free for four years now and wanted to move closer to his grandkids. The ride was to raise money for pancreatic cancer research in honor of her dad. Most people who’d helped us take down Stanley were making the trip for it. It was going to be one big reunion.

“Come on, I came out here to tell you the kids are ready for bedtime stories.”

“Dang, it’s already that time? I swear the days get shorter.”

She hurried across the backyard and into the house, and I smiled after her. This life, I couldn’t have pictured it any better than it was.

Standing in the doorway,I smiled at Darcie, who was reading to our children. Charlie was already asleep, his brown curls smashed to his forehead. He’d been fighting naps all week, saying he was too big for them. Yet by the time it came to bedtime, he was so tuckered out that he fell asleep first. Darcie finished the book and smiled at the girls.

“Let’s be quiet so we don’t wake up Charlie,” she whispered. They giggled and nodded.

Stepping into the room, I lifted Hannah into my arms. She snuggled her head into my shoulder and patted my beard. Darcie smiled at me, walking hand in hand with Grace. We stepped into their room, and after several kisses and ensuring the night lights were on, Darcie and I slipped out. Now that Hannah was almost two, the night time routine had gotten easier.

“Come with me,” I whispered, taking her hand. Tomorrow, our home would be filled with family and friends in town for the charity ride, so I wanted to steal a moment alone with Darcie before then.

Leading her outside, I watched her face as the new section the guys and I had finished earlier came into view. Darciegasped, bringing her hands to her mouth. It was no secret she loved being outside on the deck, so we’d added a pergola and draped it with lights. There were curtains on the sides so we could block out the sun or have some privacy. Inside the frame was a round bed big enough to fit five adults, three kids, and several animals.

“When? How?” she asked, spinning around, her eyes wide with delight.

“We have our ways. We can still surprise you.”

She laughed, the sound lighting up the night. “I love it.”

Retaking her hand, I pulled her over to the bed, and we climbed on. I let two curtains go but kept the ones furthest from the house open so we kept a breeze.

“This is cozy,” she said, snuggling into my chest.

I chuckled, enjoying this quiet moment with her. The two of us lay there, looking at the stars for a while, in no hurry to move from our relaxed state.

“I’m surprised none of the others have sought us out,” Darcie whispered, turning and staring at me.

“That’s because I challenged them to a game and won. I get you for the rest of the night, baby.”

“Oh? Do I get a say?” she teased, sitting up.

“Of course. But we both know you want to be here with me.”
