“Are you havin’ a little trouble in those suit pants?”
He lets out a laugh from somewhere deep in his chest. “You’re a little tease.”
Ryan pulls into the hotel and hands the keys over to the valet instructing him to put the close up the car. We head through the front door of the hotel, hand-in-hand as my heels click across the tile.
Once we’re at my door, I fumble with the key as Ryan pushes his body against me. I can feel his hot breath on my shoulder, which only makes the task-at-hand more difficult. The closeness sends chills down my spine in the most delightful way. He wraps his arms around my waist and his mouth is on my ear. My hands shake until I finally manage to get the door open. I step in, still wrapped in Ryan’s strong arms. Once I close the door, Ryan spins me around as he releases me and pushes my back against the door. Without a word, his eyes soak in every inch of me. I squeeze my hands at my sides. Without taking his eyes off me, he slowly and methodically undoes his tie. He rips it from his neck and tosses it aside. I squeeze my hands tighter as my fingernails dig into my palms. I watch in anticipation of what’s to come.
He takes off his suit jacket and tosses it aside. He tilts his head to the side and captures my mouth in a hot kiss, our tongues collide. I reach for the buttons on his crisp white dress shirt and unbutton them as our kiss sends heat to my center.
Once the buttons are unfastened, Ryan slips his arms out of the shirt. He lets the garment fall to the floor.
I get the most incredible sight—muscular pecs, solid biceps, an abdomen practically hand-carved for me, and the sexy smattering of hair down his stomach that leads to the bulge in his pants.
“Now you,” he whispers as he runs his fingertip lightly down my chest and stops at my cleavage.
I reach for the zipper on his suit pants. He shakes his head. “Uh-uh.”
I raise my eyebrows.
“Slow,” he murmurs. “Patience.”
Slow? I want him to push me up against the door and have his way with me before I melt into a puddle of goo.
“Turn around.”
I turn and face the door. His hot mouth is on my shoulder again and his stealthy fingers unzip my dress, slide the straps down my arms, and let the garment fall to the floor.
I lean my head forward and pull my hair aside so he can continue his attention to my shoulder and neck. He reaches around and softly clasps my breasts in both hands and uses his palms, as he practically sends me over the edge.
“Turn around so I can see you.” His voice is low, gravelly.
I turn to face him, with only my black panties and heels as I lean against the door.
He slips off his shoes and socks and tosses them on the floor along with the growing pile of other discarded clothing.
With his eyes still on mine, he unsnaps and unzips his pants and lets them fall to his ankles.
I swallow hard when I see the swell in his boxer briefs.
He picks me up and carries me across the room, down the three steps into the bedroom, and tosses me gently on the bed. He grabs my panties and pulls the lacy lingerie off. I watch intently as he slides down the boxer briefs and springs free. He crawls onto the bed and straddles himself above me.
“I’ve been dreaming of this moment,” he says as he peppers me with open-mouthed kisses. “When you’d be mine again.”
“I’m yours,” I answer, my voice breathy.
“I’m never going to lose you again,” he says as he pushes his hard length into my center.
There’s no more talking, no more apologies or reasons—just the two of us at this moment. I wrap my legs around him as my arms hold him and my fingernails run down his back.
I cry out with my release as my body pulsates in all the most satisfying ways. I squeeze my legs around him as he finds his release. We’re still for a moment as we catch our breath. He rolls off me and we immediately scoot together and wrap our arms around each other.
“I missed that,” Ryan says and kisses my ear. “I missed you.”
“I missed you too.” I giggle. “And that too.”
We’re quiet for a moment as we enjoy the post bliss of our lovemaking. It’s late and I’m exhausted. I listen to Ryan’s steady breathing and I squeeze him a little tighter.
My heart is home and safe in Ryan’s arms. I’m enveloped in the embrace of the only man I’ve ever loved. Our love traces back to those early beginnings of seeing him at the high school bonfire and developing into this moment. He’s the only man Icouldever love. Trust is probably something everyone struggles with at one time or another in their life, but I realize sometimes I just need to put my heart on the line. For the right person. Ryan is my right person and I know I’m ready to continue with him in my life. Continue with him as I move forward and embrace trust.
