“Gentleman, if you will excuse me, I'll be right back with those shots.”

I looked at Link, and he rolled his eyes.

“Elijah likes to fuck in bathrooms everywhere he goes,” Link stated.

I looked over to see Elijah shutting the bathroom door. “Got it.” I looked back at Link. “So, you are going to tie my girl down, huh?”

Link smiled. “Mygirl.”

I put my hands up in defeat. “Touché. Are you going to involve Callie? They will both cut your balls off if you don’t.”

“Of course. I would never think of doing it without her or Brie. I kinda like my balls.” We both laughed.

Moments later, Elijah came back holding our shots with a big ass grin plastered on his face.

“That was quick,” I said with a grin.

He shot back one of the six whisky shots. “Doesn’t take long to make them scream when you know what you're doing.”

Link was giving Elijah a funny look. “I thought you don’t drink when you are on tour?”

Elijah took another shot. “Usually I don’t, but I thought this time was an exception. We get to celebrate you proposing soon, and I also have some news for you guys.”

We both looked at him, eyes wide.

“Reckless Riders officially got a headline tour for next year.”

“Dude, that’s fucking awesome,” Link said.

“Yeah, that’s great! I will have to buy some tickets for all of us.” I grinned, knowing he wouldn’t ever let us pay for them.

“Fuck you, Nick. You know you aren’t paying for shit,” Elijah said.

“You really should let us pay for general admission tickets at least. There are a lot of us,” I chuckled.

“Never. My friends are always free.” Elijah seemed to be slurring his words a little.

“I am glad we have stuff to celebrate, but are you sure you’re good? I'm talking about the drinking thing.” Link asked.

“Dude, I’m good. I promise.”

I couldn’t figure out why Link was so focused on Elijah’s drinking, but it was probably none of my business, so I didn’t ask.

We caught up on all the things happening in our lives, and Elijah told us a little about the tour and some of the stops. I honestly wasn’t listening much because I couldn’t stop thinking about the girls being home alone. I was getting a bit anxious, so I gave in and texted Callie to check in. on them.

Hey, baby. How’s my perfect girl?

Do you ladies need anything before we leave? I can grab some food from here.

Callie

No. I’m missing you, but I’m okay. We are probably going to pass out soon. Aubrey is going to sleep in my bed with me so Link can stay on the couch if he doesn’t want to go home.

Why don’t you sleep in my bed and they can have yours?

The text back was a little delayed. I almost texted again to tell her to forget about it, but then one came through.
