Jody
Frustration marched through me. Dilbert hadn’t taken my hint at all that I wanted to go to sleep, but I hadn’t wanted to actually sleep. I’d hoped he’d take the hint and try to make a move and kiss me or something while we held onto each other. Often guys groped me if given half a chance and I had to fight them off even at work. None had made me crave them like this sexy alien was doing.
If he never made a move on me, how was I going to get intimate with him if he was always on the other side of the room? He’d just rolled over and was out faster than I could snap my fingers.
Had I lost my sex appeal?
Maybe I should ask the Roulex to let me shower and get the grime of this place off me.
Speaking of which, it was hard to believe his talk of the Roulex being monsters and torturing him when they hadn’t done anything to him since I got here.
He’d been beaten up when I first arrived, but his wounds couldn’t have been as bad as I thought because they were nearly healed now.
Had he gotten in a fight with another inmate and invited the tale about the Roulex being the ultimate bad guys? I should’ve studied psychology in school instead of medicine, then maybe I’d have some clue about Dilbert’s behavior and grand illusions.
He’d said the Roulex had killed his sister though. That bothered me and I would ask them about that whenever I got out from being locked up in here.
I paced to the window, not being overly quiet because I wanted Dilbert to wake up, damn it. How was I supposed to seduce him if he was sleeping?
Feeling claustrophobic, I lifted on my tiptoes and inhaled the outside air.
This planet had no pollution compared to Earth. And if I leaned just right, I could make out deep purple mountains in the distance. Was that Dilbert’s home?
I bet it killed him to be stuck in here and not able to fly. That had to make a person go crazy. Tomorrow I needed to figure out how to get closer to him. His kiss was starting to feel like a dream. Something my lust-filled mind had connected with being locked in a cell with a gorgeous alien.
Was he built the same as a human man down there? Heat burned my face and I was glad he was sleeping, or he’d ask me why I was blushing.
At least the second sun was fading. I was getting tired now. I laid down a few feet away from Dilbert, facing him.
Everything about him was sexy. His chiseled chest and abs. Piercing golden eyes and full, kissable mouth.
Damn it, Jody, stop thinking about sex.
He was both dangerous and appealing to me. I had to be careful not to fall for him. This was business only. No matter how great a kisser he was or how he nearly tirelessly answered all my questions or laughed at my silliness. I couldn’t get attached.
