It’s overwhelmingly intimate watching him watch me as he fucks me. I can feel my breasts bouncing with each thrust, but he never even glances down at them, even though he’s obsessed with them.
My chest flushes as the orgasm rips through me. I cry out his name, probably way too loud. But I don’t care who knows right now. All I want is the man who cut through a crowd to defend my honor. I want to feel his cum fill me. I want to feel him lose himself inside me.
His arms lock around me, holding me in place as his hips buck against mine. My ass slaps against him as he groans and spills inside me. I feel the racing of his heart against my back, and it hits me how much trouble I’m in.
This might be temporary, but the mark that he’s left on me is indelible.

“Do you know my favorite thing about waking up next to you?” Luke asks as soon as I open my eyes.
His head rests on my chest, so I’m not sure how he knew I was awake. I turn my head, seeing bright sunshine shining through the gap in the curtains. I hope we didn’t sleep in too late, but I’m also too comfortable to do anything about it. My fingers find their way into his hair, scratching his scalp the way I’ve come to know he loves.
“Scalp scratches?” I guess.
“No.” He turns his head to look at me. “Hearing your heartbeat.”
I’m pretty sure said heart skips a beat. Heat burns the back of my eyes as he presses a kiss to my lips. I don’t want to cry, so I pour all my emotions into the kiss. He braces himself over me, rocking his pelvis against mine. I drop my thighs to the side, creating an opening for his hard length to press against.
A knock at the door followed by Colt’s voice serves as a cold bucket of water.
“You alive in there?”
Luke drops his forehead to mine before answering. “Yeah.”
“Have you seen Eli?” Colt’s voice sounds almost hesitant. “I haven’t, and I’m a little worried.”
A beat passes between us where he searches my eyes, a small smile lifting his kissable lips.
“She’s in here,” he finally replies to Colt through the door.
“In there?” A long pause fills the air while Luke’s answer settles in. “Eli? You good?”
“Yes,” I manage to say, holding my laughter back. “I’ll be upstairs in a minute.”
“Take your time.” His voice is now laced with innuendo. “None of us had seen you since last night, so we were getting worried.”
“Got it. I’m okay.”
His footsteps fade away down the hall, and we both break out into laughter. Luke collapses and rolls onto his back beside me.
“I’ve never heard Colt stunned into silence like that before.” Luke runs a hand over his stubble as the laughter subsides.
“You know they’re upstairs trying to figure everything out. And I know he came down here fishing for information because Amber knew where I was going when we got home.”
“And Janey saw us together.”
“I guess that means the secret is out.” I look up at him from under my lashes, trying to get a read on how he feels about the situation.
“Are you okay with it?”
“Yes.” I press a quick kiss to his lips. “But let’s not say anything to my grandparents.”
Something passes through his eyes, but he covers whatever he was feeling too quick for me to get a read on it. “Okay.”
Part of me is internally screaming to tell him why I want to hold off. That it would feel too real to tell my family. He’s the one always reminding me this is temporary. Why would I risk being made to look like a silly little girl with a crush? No, thank you.
It’s also why I hold back my explanation. This isn’t a relationship, we’re not exclusive. I don’t owe him an explanation.
