“Oops…” Peyton laughed as one last tub fell, smacking against Hadina’s shoulder. The scarlet paint covered Hadina’s face and chest before dripping between her breasts. The feeling was sticky, which reminded her of the spray of blood after cutting someone’s throat—the only difference was the coolness against her skin. While she couldn’t see herself, she imagined she resembled the poster child for aCarrieremake.

“Well, that didn’t go as planned,” she deadpanned. Peyton snorted and unwrapped her fingers from Hadina’s hair, running her fingers down the other woman’s cheek.

“Red looks good on you,” Peyton whispered, her eyes darkening as Hadina pulled the brushes from her sensitive pussy.

The brushes were slick with Peyton’s cum and Hadina eyed the tips hungrily. Meeting Peyton’s gaze, she brought them to her mouth and licked them clean. Once she had lapped up every bit, Hadina tossed the brushes aside, pushed to her feet, and grinned wildly at Peyton.

Slipping a hand around the back of her neck, Hadina brought Peyton in and kissed her deeply. “Taste yourself. Aren’t you divine?”

Peyton hummed and cupped Hadina’s face, crushing their lips together. Hadina allowed herself to be consumed by Peyton, by that kiss, and prayed that her fantasy could last a little bit longer.

Chapter24

PEYTON

Their anticsat the gallery had left Peyton feeling hot all over. She was satisfied and sleepy, but her body ached for more. It was like she could never be satisfied by only havingpartof Hadina; she wanted all of her, unhinged mind and all.

One of Hadina’s henchman had been waiting for them outside when they left the storeroom, which had made her momentarily embarrassed before a cool acceptance washed over her. She didn’t care who heard them, as long as they knew only Hadina could make her lose her mind like that.

“Back exit is clear, boss,” Harris told Hadina, flicking his eyes to Peyton with a smirk. “Hope y’all enjoy the rest of your night.”

Hadina flashed him a warning look before grabbing Peyton by the hand and pulling her to the car outside. A trail of paint created a map of their path but Hadina assured her that it would get cleaned up, and that Piper wouldn’t be mad.

By the time they returned to the house, Peyton was ready to fall into bed and sleep for a week. “Are you staying here tonight?”

Hadina glanced over and saw the mischief in the girl’s eyes. “Can’t sleep without me?”

“The world doesn’t revolve around you, Hadina.”

“No, perhaps not, Peyton. But I think yours does.” Taking a step forward, Hadina brushed a finger down Peyton’s cheek, smirking when she gasped softly at the contact. “Tell me, when was the last time you went to sleep anddidn'tdream of me?”

Peyton sobered and laughed, flipping her off. “I need to go get cleaned.” Spinning on her heels, Peyton walked up to her room, casting a glance at Hadina from the banister upstairs. “Thank you for tonight.”

A shadow passed over Hadina’s face but she quickly wiped it off and smiled back. “I should be thanking you, tentadora. I’ll speak to you tomorrow.”

Sleep had come quicklyand easily to her after her shower. Peyton had scrubbed her skin until every drop of paint was only a distant memory, relishing the soreness between her thighs. Afterwards, she donned a fresh pair of panties and slipped into bed naked, the cool temperature of the sheets soothing her skin. The sound of her bedroom door opening and closing woke her from sleep. Panic rose in her throat as the soft footsteps echoed in the room. Peyton cursed herself for her lack of weapons, suddenly realizing how utterly defenseless she was.

“Mierda,” the voice cursed as the intruder hit their toe on the bed frame. Peyton smiled into her pillow, warmness spreading through her at the intimacy of Hadina sneaking into her bedroom.

Rolling over so she could make out the looming silhouette, Peyton opened one eye slowly. “Can you stop making so much noise? Some of us are trying to sleep.”

Hadina let out a squeal of surprise and Peyton chuckled. It was so out of character for Hadina to be surprised by anything and it made Peyton happy to be the one to do it.

“I thought you’d be asleep,” Hadina whispered, awkwardly climbing into the bed. She propped herself up at the headboard, sitting stiffly with her hands in her lap.

Peyton sighed and pulled the covers back in invitation. Hadina’s eyes darkened as she took in Peyton’s naked figure before schooling her features and slipping under the blankets.

“I was sleeping before someone decided to climb into my bed at”—she glanced at the alarm clock beside her bed—“three in the morning for an adult slumber party.”

Hadina pursed her lips as she rested her head on a pillow, her long hair falling over her shoulders. “I’m sorry for waking you then.”

“Don’t be. I’m not mad about having you in my bed,” Peyton replied with a soft smile.

They each lay on their sides, facing each other. Silence clung to the air in the space between them. For once, Peyton didn’t need to ask what Hadina was thinking. Without realizing it, Hadina had let Peyton scratch her way through the woman’s walls, creating a hole just big enough to let some emotion seep through. Peyton hoped Hadina didn’t try to patch it up anytime soon. She was enjoying seeing part of Hadina’s vulnerable side.

“Come here,” Hadina ordered, holding her arms out for Peyton to slide between them. Hadina enveloped her and Peyton sighed against her chest, resting her head over Hadina’s heart. For as much as she pretended to be cold and unfeeling, Peyton could feel the strength of her employer’s beating heart beneath her cheek.
