At that point his fingers found my most magical spot. Zack pressed his lips harder against mine to muffle the moans that spilled from me. “Shh…” He pressed me against the wall, his leg moved up under me as a balance while he drove me crazy with his hand.

“I should make the most of this,” I said. “You turn thirty tomorrow, you won’t be able to lift me up like this for long.”

I pouted as he withdrew his fingers. “I can stop now if you’d prefer…” His breaths were rapid as he looked at me, those dark eyes full of love, lust, and desire.

I shook my head and pulled him back into another kiss as my fingers tugged his jeans down. “Please don’t stop.”

“Keep kissing me, be quiet, and hold on tight.” He pushed against me, his tongue met mine with urgency and stilled my pleasured gasps.

I didn’t even care right then if anyone could hear the rhythmic thuds as he pushed me into the wall, over and over again. I was on fire; the heat of the room made our skin hot and damp as we ground together. I was full of him, yet desperate for more, as we worked out all the frustration of the long journey. I honestly felt as though I could never tire of feeling him in this way.

He held me in place, kissing me softly for a minute as our hearts thudded together, alongside our breath. Then, with a smile, he placed me down on the bed and cuddled up to me, continuing to press kisses to my hot skin.

“So, Lily, you know when we get married?”

I took a deep breath of him, content in this moment. “Mmhmm.”

“Do you think… that maybe…” He seemed nervy. I stroked the side of his face in reassurance. “Maybe you could stop taking your pill straight away?”

I gazed into those gorgeous brown eyes. I could imagine our babies so vividly, they’d be angelic. Zack watched me, earnest and eager.

“How about the day before our wedding is my last one?” I bit my lip as he pulled me close and took a deep breath of my skin.

“That sounds perfect. This is like heaven, you know? You and me, this beautiful place, all my family. Knowing that when we get home we have the house, the wedding and an absolute ton of baby making to look forward to.”

“Not even turning thirty could bring you down then?” I asked with a smile.

“Definitely not. I can’t wait for it. I love you so much. I don’t think you understand how deeply.”

“I understand, Zack.” I rubbed my nose side to side against his. “You know that your whole family knows what we’re doing up here, though?”

“They’ll get over it,” Zack grinned at me as he spoke. “Round two while we’re here?”

“Yes please…”

If anyone was suspicious about what we’d been up to, they thankfully didn’t show it. Except for Cassie, perhaps.

“I can’t believe I’ve ended up with the bedroom next to yours.” She elbowed me in the side as she headed over and filled both of our wine glasses to the brim. “Hope you two got it all out your systems earlier?”

“Very funny,” I rolled my eyes. “Were the girls OK on the flight?”

“They loved it,” she smiled and glanced over to where they played with Zack’s nephews. “Pity that Guy couldn’t make it, but you know what his work is like.”

I nodded. “I expect it’ll be the same with Zack now, not much flexibility.”

“Well, that’s just a perfect excuse for us to come to places like this together without them.” She winked and we headed back to the group arm in arm.

My soul felt full to bursting as I looked around. Such beautiful surroundings and all this love and happiness. How did I end up this blessed?

Zack pulled me close and kissed my cheek. “Shall we tell them?”

Maisie immediately piped up, loud and shrill, “Are you pregnant?”

“No!” I said with a pout as I looked down at my flat stomach. Why would she say that?

Zack laughed. “No, but we can announce the wedding date and venue.”

There were excited noises and everyone focused on Zack as he spoke. “The thirtieth of May, and the wedding will be at our new house.”
