He smiled and her stomach did flips.

“Casey, will you marry me?”

He let go of her hand to open the box. In it was the most beautiful ring she’d ever seen, a sapphire. If she had been given a choice of rings in a whole store, this would have been the one. But it wasn’t the ring she was marrying. She looked at Colt, holding his gaze.

“Anytime, anywhere. Yes, I will marry you. Now put that rock on my finger and kiss me.”

The audience went crazy as he slipped the ring on her finger. Even Anna jumped up and down as he stood up, wrapping her in a hug that lifted her feet from the ground.

His voice spoke next to her ear, sending happy chills down her back. “I can’t wait to make you Mrs. Casual.”

She threw her head back and laughed. When she brought her head back down, Colt was waiting. His lips found hers and everything faded away except that kiss and his arms secure around her and the new heavy weight of the rock on her finger with all the promise it held.
