“Eyes on me, gorgeous,” he directs as he laps at my pussy. He plunges deep into me and rubs that hidden spot while he sucks hard on my bud. I’m over stimulated by his touch everywhere and the sight of him below me. I explode, one hand on the edge of the counter anchoring me and one hand fisting his hair. I hold his mouth to me.

“Lick me clean, Graves,” I demand.

“Yes, ma’am.”

My arousal glistens on his chin as he drinks down my release. Swiping his tongue through my slit and dipping it inside me is warming me up again. We need to stop. Fist still tight in his hair, I pull him to his feet and lead his mouth to mine. I taste myself on his lips and it makes me wild with desire. I want him so much, I’m tempted to ask him to stay and tell Ghost to fuck off.

I follow Nox to the door and slide my feet into my boots.

“Stay inside,” he commands.

“Nope,” I snap back, popping the 'p' sound.

“You don’t have pants on,” he argues. I don’t, but my sweater is long enough that it covers me completely, hitting mid thigh in length.

“And whose fault is that?” I joke. “I want to see what set off your alarm.”

“No,” he objects. I push past him and stride over to his truck.

“Dammit, Mallory.” He chases after me.

“It looks like a branch fell on your truck. I’m so sorry Nox. I’ll pay for the damage.”

His eyes are assessing as befuddlement crosses over his stoic face. Yeah, a branch definitely could have fallen. Or, what’s more likely, is that my stalker got jealous and took his rage out on Nox’s truck. There’s multiple points of impact on the edge of the box and a large tree branch with lots of limbs laying beside the vehicle. It just doesn’t line up in my eyes.

Lennox pulls me from my thoughts with a gentle kiss to my lips. “I’ll see you later, babe,” he utters as he opens the door to his truck and climbs in. Turning the key in the ignition, his truck roars to life. It is so loud, the vibrations rumble through the ground beneath my feet. What would it be like to drive that beast? Would he let me?

“What’s that look?” he inquires.

“I like your truck,” I blush.

“Oh yeah? Wanna climb on up here and go for a rip?” Ugh, I wish, but I’ve dragged this on long enough. He must be able to read my face because without a reply from me he says, “Next time, gorgeous.”

“Okay, next time,” I say, forcing a smile. I hear him shift the truck into reverse and he starts to crawl out of the driveway, his eyes never leaving mine. The truck stops and he waves me over. Too eager to hear what he has to say, I rush over. He rolls down the window, “Can I have your number?”

I let out a small laugh, “Absolutely.”

He hands me his phone, open to a new contact labelled ‘Gorgeous.’ Heat creeps up my neck and I know my skin is flushed. I key in my number and hand the phone back to him through the window.

“Later, babe.” He winks then pulls out of my driveway. Nox makes a show of kicking up mud with his tires before he tears off down the road. I stand there listening until I can’t hear the rumble of his engine anymore.

Sighing, I turn to head back inside to shower before my other man shows up.

Chapter Twenty-Six

Ghost

Mallory looks so peaceful when she sleeps. She’s wrapped in a towel, laying on top of all her blankets. I pick up her phone, set an alarm to go off in twenty minutes, turn on her ringer, then head back outside. I had initially planned to give her no down time. As soon as Officer Graves left, I was going to come storming in pissed as hell. That plan went sideways when someone vandalized my truck. I’m sure she thinks it was Ghost, but obviously not. I raced back into town, picked up a burner phone to text her from as Nox, then changed into my all black stalker clothes and grabbed my Ghost mask.

Only three hours have passed since I was with her, but I’m still desperate for another hit of whatever drug her kisses inject into my veins. I walk the perimeter of her property and notice footprints that are not mine. Who the fuck has eyes on my woman now? The need to protect her swims beneath my skin. Whoever it is, is gone now. I’d bet my pay cheque it’s the same person who bashed a log into my truck. All-encompassing rage swamps me as the sky darkens. Thunder rumbles off in the distance and the rain starts to pick up. I check the time on my phone, soon my little siren will wake and beg for my forgiveness. Lightning splits the sky, it’s bright light casting long ominous shadows all around. They last for only a fraction of a second but it’s enough to mess with someone's head. Especially when running from a predator.

Such a perfect night for a hunt.

Mallory

A wailing siren sound shocks me awake. Shit, I didn’t mean to fall asleep. I also didn’t set my alarm, so why is it going off? It’s spooky. I don’t know how to describe it but the atmosphere is thick, heavy. It makes me uneasy. I grab my phone and silence the ear-piercing sound. A message comes through as I am holding my phone, its vibration making me jump.

Ghost:
