Chapter 41 – Sam
A few days had passed since James had texted me, and it had been quiet since…not that I would have any idea if he had been trying to text me since I changed numbers. Knowing he didn’t have that outlet to me anymore gave me a certain sense of calm. Even if he was watching, he couldn’t torment me.
It was sort of cathartic, like I was giving him a big Fuck You. He might be able to see me, but between Tyler and Gabe, I didn’t feel like he could get to me.
So, I resumed my normal life. Gabe took me to and from school and walked me to my classes, and Tyler let me use the house for all of my tutoring appointments. That was a huge weight off my shoulders in itself.
Tyler did his best to occupy my time as well as my mind in any free time that I had. Since our weekdays seemed to be so crowded, I cherished our weekends together. Since we were usually home together all weekend, he started giving Jacinda Saturdays off as well as her usual Sundays. She was thrilled to be able to get more time with her kids.
I loved when he and I would cook dinner together, or rather I would cook, and he would spend time distracting me from the task at hand. Half the time, our food would burn because we would be too busy ravishing each other on the kitchen counter, and we’d end up ordering takeout. At the end of the day, I didn’t care what we ate, as long as we got our time together.
I never knew it was possible to be so physically drawn to another human being. I craved him in an almost primal way. My body ached for his every time my mind wandered to thoughts of his hands touching me, his mouth kissing me, and his cock sliding in and out of me.
Everything about him drew me in. Just a single look from him could have me ready and waiting.
I was crazy about him in the best way possible, and I enjoyed every moment, worried that eventually the honeymoon phase would wear off. I wondered if one day, he would just look at me and wonder what the hell he was thinking and realize exactly how much better he could do.
The thoughts plagued me, but at the end of the day, I knew our love for one another was real, and our relationship was solid.
One evening, we were sitting in the living room watching some basketball. I was curled up with a good book while Tyler worked on his app. He had bought himself a new laptop, so he wasn’t constantly confined to his office every time he wanted to get some work done.
My eyes were locked on him as I watched him type some equations as fast as he could. When I looked at the screen to see exactly what he was doing, I was watching his brain move at an astonishing rate.
I had to ask him something. “Hey Trust Fund…”
“Yeah?” He answered without looking up at me.
“Why on Earth would you have me tutor you in math? I’m clearly watching you do some pretty complex stuff…in your head.”
His eyes darted back and forth as if looking for an answer.
“Tyler?”
Slowly, he lowered the screen until it clicked shut. “Let’s just say I needed an excuse to get to know a girl better when she refused to give me the time of day.”
My eyes widened. “Why did you want to get to know me so badly?”
“Because you were different. When we had a class together, you didn’t once try to talk to me. Didn’t try to get me to take you out or invite you to my house. Nothing. Hell, you barely even looked at me.”
“Oh, I looked at you. I mean come on, you’re gorgeous. But clearly, I had the wrong impression of you. I shouldn’t have assumed you were an asshole just because you were rich.”
“Well, to be honest, I was kind of an asshole. For a long time. But something about you drew me in. I knew you wouldn’t be easy to get to know or get you to spend time with me, but I saw your tutoring ad, and I saw my chance. So, I pretended to not know much about math. Don’t be mad. I didn’t mean to lie about it.”
I laughed. “I’m not mad, Ty. I should have given you more of a chance rather than just writing you off. Besides, I’m pretty glad you decided to hire me as your tutor. I think it all turned out pretty well if I do say so myself.” I leaned over to kiss him.
The kiss started soft, his lips barely touching mine, but quickly, he was moving his laptop to the coffee table to move closer and tangle his fingers in my hair holding me in place while his tongue worked its magic.
It was hard to believe that the first couple times we went to bed together, I didn’t have these kisses, due to my dumb idea to keep things casual. How had I felt him inside me and not had his delicious kiss?
He pulled down my pants and climbed between my legs. “You look so damn hot, Kansas,” he said before his mouth found mine again.
I wasn’t sure what about my baggy t-shirt and ratty jeans he found hot, but I didn’t feel the need to argue.
Next, he pulled my shirt over my head, and I tossed my glasses and book in the same direction has his laptop and pulled my hair from the bun on top of my head, letting my hair fall all around me on the couch.
His mouth left mine long enough for him to stand up and undress. His shirt came off revealing those taught abs and sexy tattoos. When he pulled down his jeans, his cock stood ready and waiting. He held the long girth in his hand squeezing his big head as he climbed back on the couch.
Rubbing himself against my entrance, he made sure I was ready for him. There was no need though since just being in the same vicinity as him constantly had me wet.
