Chapter 26 – Tyler

After finishing our exquisite meal, we continued our walk through the brisk night air. With it being Christmas, most things were closed, making the normally bustling city wonderfully quiet and serene.

As we walked, snow began to slowly fall around us, the large white flakes adding to the picturesque evening.

I stopped walking and pulled Sam close to me so our chests were touching. Gently grabbing each side of her face, I leaned down to take her mouth in mine.

She melted into me as I deepened the kiss. Her hands wrapped around my waist pulling me closer.

When I finally released her, her eyes gazed into mine. She didn’t have to utter a single word because those eyes spoke volumes, screaming at me to take her to bed.

“So, what’s next, Kansas?” I whispered.

Slightly out of breath, she replied, “We’re here.”

Looking above us, I saw a sign for the Luxe Suites, one of the fanciest hotels in town. Now, I was seriously questioning how she was affording all of this.

“Wait,” I grabbed her arm. “Our luggage is still back in the SUV in the parking garage.”

“No, it’s not,” she said smugly.

Before I could ask any more questions, she was already walking ahead of me.

“When she reached the front desk, she said, “Hi, I’m Samantha Flemming. We were checked in earlier, and I just need the extra copy of the room key.”

My confusion deepened. She’d been with me all day. How the hell did she already get checked in?

Without another word, she grabbed the room key and headed for the elevator.

Once inside the shiny golden box, her eyes were firmly fixed forward, and she tried to hide her sly smile. “Don’t look at me like that, Trust Fund. You haven’t seen anything yet.”

A moment later, the doors were opening, and we quickly turned a couple hallways to find our room.

When she opened the door, I was nothing short of amazed. The large hotel room was flooded with flameless candles that flickered casting a dim glow throughout the space.

She shrugged her shoulders. “Apparently, they frown upon lighting the real ones in here.”

There was what appeared to be some sexy lingerie laid out on the plush bed, and on the bedside table sat champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.

There was gorgeous fireplace and a large hot tub to top it all off.

Next to the bed sat a small suitcase different than the one she had left in the SUV.

“How’d you do all this, Kansas?”

“Emily owed me a favor. Do you like it?” She asked nervously.

Quickly, I swooped her up and wrapped her around me. “I love it, baby. But I feel like I should have been the one doing this for you. I’m going to have to step up my game in the romance department.”

She gave me a quick peck. “Nah, you deserve it. Now, put me down so I can go get all sexy for you.”

Kicking off her shoes and padding over to the bed, she picked up the lingerie and headed into the bathroom. While I waited, I poured us each a glass of champagne and lit the large fireplace.

When she still wasn’t out, I followed suit, kicking off my shoes and laid on the bed barely able to contain my excitement…or my hard-on.

When she finally opened that door, I wasn’t disappointed. She wore a deep purple see-through top that showed everything. It had a slit down the middle exposing her silken white stomach. Below, she wore a tiny thong that matched the lacy purple fabric.

Holy hell.
