Chapter 25 – Tyler

When the game was over, Sam and I took a stroll around downtown Boston, and she still was keeping tight-lipped about our plans.

As we walked, I took her hand in mine, linking our fingers together. She smiled up at me as I saw all the love I had for her reflecting back at me in her big green eyes.

She was beautiful.

And she was mine.

A few blocks later, she stopped in front of a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant.

Mama Giano’s

“Apparently, they have the best Italian food in Boston, and they’re open on Christmas,” she shrugged.

“Well, come on, Kansas, let’s see if their food really is the best,” I said while holding the door open for her.

As she walked ahead of me, I couldn’t help but sneak a peek at her ample ass in her tight black leggings. I could see the slight jiggle with every step she took.

Quickly, I averted my eyes trying not to get hard for the whole world to see.

We walked in, and Sam gave them her name as we were led upstairs to a very private room. The lighting was soft, setting a very romantic atmosphere. Our table sat near the only window in the room, and outside was a gorgeous view of the Boston Harbor.

The waiter came to our table to deliver some bread and get our drink orders. Despite us eating Italian, she still wasn’t a wine drinker, opting for whiskey instead.

That’s my girl.

I followed her lead in ordering one as well.

After we perused the menu for a few, I’d settled on a Chicken Carbonara while she opted for a Scampi.

I scooted the small vase of faux flowers out of the way so I could see her face better.

“Are you having fun?” She asked shyly.

“Of course,” I answered.

“Well, I know this part of the evening might seem a little cheesy or girly, but I promise later tonight, things will get slightly more adventurous,” she wiggled her eyebrows.

Intrigue definitely flooded my thoughts wondering what she meant, but first, I had to clear something up.

“Listen to me,” I laid my hand on hers. “I don’t think this is cheesy. This is perfect. I love it when you show me you love me, no matter what we are doing.”

“I just know most men would probably find it stupid,” she shrugged.

She had to have meant James since her dating history was anything but extensive.

Sam wasn’t always the best at showing her emotions or showing how much she cared, and I knew James had to be where that all started.

But I didn’t want to bring him up or ruin our evening, so all I said was, “Well, I’m not most guys.”

She grinned. “No, you most certainly are not…which is why you deserve to be spoiled sometimes too.”

My heart warmed. No one had ever wanted to take care of me the way she did. Even with Marisol, she never went out of her way to do special things for me…aside from in the bedroom.

Yes, I loved having my cock spoiled, but it was nice to be loved in other ways too once in a while.

Sam and I might not have been together all that long, but I knew she was it for me. There was no one else in the world like her, and honestly, even if there was, I never wanted to find out.

Even though I knew without a doubt, I was ready to spend my life with her, I feared she wasn’t quite ready for any big, life-changing steps. Sam took time to adjust to things. So, I would patiently wait.

She was worth it. She would always be worth it.
