Chapter 23 – Tyler
The day after Sam’s family left was Christmas Day. Since I’d been impatient and given Sam all of her gifts early, I figured we’d have a pretty quiet day at home with Mason.
Reaching over, I felt for Sam next to me. I tried to pull her in close and feel her body against mine. But all I felt was cold empty sheets.
Still groggy, I walked downstairs with every intention of carrying my woman back up to our nice warm bed. But I knew that wouldn’t be happening when I saw her cooking breakfast.
When she spotted me, her face dropped in disappointment. “No! You’re not supposed to be awake yet.”
My brow furrowed. “Why?”
“I wanted to surprise you with breakfast in bed,” she pouted.
“Aw, I’m sorry, Kansas. I just woke up without my sexy woman next to me, and I wanted to drag her back to bed caveman style.” I grabbed her by the waist and gave her a deep, passionate kiss. “Want me to go back to bed?”
She bit her bottom lip. “How about we eat breakfast and then we go back to bed together?”
Her devilish smile made my cock spring to life in my pants. A girl who wanted to cook me breakfast and then let me into her pants? Does it really get any better?
She finished up making our delicious pancakes before we sat down at the table and scarfed them down.
“Be right back,” she said as she got up and pranced away. I watched her bare ass bouncing from under my t-shirt as she exited the room.
When she returned, she carried a couple of neatly wrapped gifts.
“What’s all this?” I asked as she handed them to me.
“It’s Christmas, silly. You didn’t think I wouldn’t get you something after all you did for me, right?”
“I mean I figured you might, but you didn’t have to.”
She smiled. “But just be warned, they aren’t as good as a puppy or flying your family across the country.”
“I’m sure they’re wonderful,” I leaned in to kiss her.
“Okay, well open them!” She looked so excited she might burst.
The first box I opened was small and rectangular. Inside there were two tickets.
The small print read:
BOSTON CELTICS VS. NEW YORK KNICKS
“Baby, you got me tickets to a game?” I said with a smile.
“It’s this afternoon. Already asked Jacinda to puppy-sit for the night.”
“The whole night? Game only lasts a few hours.”
“Keep opening,” she grinned.
The next box held some papers detailing our hotel reservations for the night.
“I have big plans for you this evening, Trust Fund. I’ve planned all day and all night.”
“You did all this?” I asked.
“Yes, and most of it is a surprise, so you won’t see it all until later.”
