I burst into laughter. That was the last question I had expected to hear.
‘Sibling rivalry, Jase?’
‘I’m just a bit impressed.’
I shook my head, grinning with amusement. ‘Well, it’s been months since we slept together, but if he’s maintained his skills, then yes, he is outstanding.’
He fixed his gaze on the table. ‘Any tips?’
‘Why don’t you ask him yourself?’ Giggling, I stood up to put my bowl in the dishwasher.
‘You know, I think I might.’
‘Do. Men like William should spread their knowledge. It’s not fair that such a small number of women get to experience sex like that. What I can tell you is that the woman’s pleasure is his only focus. I’ve never met a man more attuned to the female body during sex in my life. Aaron’s great, but William’s another level.’
‘Hm.’
I gazed into the living room. The sofa was tempting. ‘I’m spending the day in today. Do you have any plans or shall we find a TV show to binge until William wakes up?’
‘I’m in.’
‘Can we still cuddle or is that off—’
‘Hey’ – he looked at me with a lowered brow – ‘I’ve agreed to share you with him, not give you to him.’
Charmed, I gave him a smile.

Suddenly I woke up from an accidental nap. Sprawled across Jason on the sofa, I turned my head and saw that he was fast asleep. What time was it? Was William still here? I had to find out.
As gently as I could, I pulled away from Jason and approached my bedroom. Very carefully, I opened the door and peeked inside. William was still sleeping soundly in my bed, and the view left a tender smile on my mouth. Closing the door again, I decided to make him breakfast.
I had just turned on the cooker when I sensed a presence behind me. Turning away from the omelette I was making, I nearly squealed at the sight of William. He raised his forefinger to his lips, commanding silence, and jerked his head in Jason’s direction, who was still napping on the sofa.
Recovering from the jolt, I straightened myself and did a visual sweep of his body, which towered only a couple of feet away from me. His hair was in disarray, and he was only wearing a pair of white boxers.
Yet again, I was stunned by his beauty. Excitement prickled my face as my eyes traced the line of hair that climbed up from his boxers toward his navel. I knew where the strands began, and the thought aroused me.
Breaking out of my trance, I faced the cooker again, but I froze with tension when I sensed him moving closer. He stopped behind me, the heat of his body radiating against my own. Gulping, I looked at him out of the corner of my eye. He leaned over my shoulder, his eyes shifting between the frying pan and my profile. Very gently, he put his hand on my hip.
I stopped breathing.
Using his other hand, he reached in front of me and turned off the hob. Then he shoved the pan to the side and took the spatula out of my hand, letting it rest on the edge of the pan.
His lips drew nearer to my ear. My heart thundered.
He kissed my temple, his lips grazing my profile as he lowered them to my neck.
‘Come with me,’ he whispered, and I nearly shuddered at the sound of his seductive tone.
Taking my hand, he interlaced our fingers and led the way to my bedroom. My nervous heart was beating at a hundred miles per hour when he opened the door and walked in.
A small gap between the curtains allowed some light of day to illuminate the room, and through it, I saw heavy rain cascading from the sky. The sound of it tapping against the windows soothed me somewhat, as it summoned a sense of intimacy.
William pulled me inside and shut the door. Letting go of my hand, he gripped my hips and pressed me against the wall. I swallowed as I stared up at him, full of anticipation. His eyes radiated warmth as he held my gaze, his lips bending into an enchanting smile that took my breath away. Again, that sweet but foreign feeling crowded my heart, making it throb.
During that brief moment in time, I felt entirely alive. Dynamic and full of life. I could feel my blood coursing through my veins, feel the air as it passed through my lungs. All my senses sharpened. Suddenly, life wasn’t just something I had been tossed into and emotionlessly endured. It was vibrant, it was vigorous, and it was magical. The present had never felt so real.
