My dick throbbed in my pants, dying to getout and play with her. I closed my eyes and focused on her soft, wet skin.Every now and then, I stopped touching her, dragged my wet fingers up againsther stomach, and watched her lift up her hips to have my finger back. I wasfascinated by every move she was making.
When I was getting close to losing my mind,I stroked and caressed her faster, my fingers firm against her clit. Thatseemed to turn her on even more and she moaned louder, begging me for more.
“Shhh, sweetheart. I got you.”
“Jason,” she whispered in between hermoans. My name spilling out of her lips was like a caress on my pounding heart.
I moaned next to her ear and watched herbody tremble.
“Is this what you needed, baby?” Iwhispered back.
“Yes. Yes.”
“Good,” I mumbled. I pressed a kiss on hertemple.
When her hand reached out and clamped down onmy thigh, her fingers digging in so close to my dick, I groaned and watched herlose herself in her orgasm as her cries almost pushed me over the edge, too.She tried to close her legs on me, but I pushed them apart again and keptstroking her until she calmed down and started to whimper sweetly.
Pulling my hand out of her underwear, Ibrushed another lingering kiss on her temple and let her curl into me as shetried to catch her breath. Soon, her breathing evened out and she fell asleepin my arms.
It had been a long time since I’d felt theway Olive was making me feel—if there had ever been a time...
I’d missed something. I’d missed what washappening between us. She wasn’t Dylan’s sister in my eyes any more. She was mylittle one, just like the very first day we’d met. And now she was my wife.
Every time she looked into my eyes with herheart wide open, she was pulling me in deeper. As much as this whole thing hadstarted as a charade, I didn’t know if I would be able to let her go when thetime came.
I curled myself around her small frame andtucked her closer against my burning body. It wasn’t enough. Slipping my armunder her head, I pulled one of her legs over my thigh and made sure she wouldstay just like that.
With a soft smile on my face, I whispered,“Sweet dreams, wife.”
It took a moment for that single word tohit me in the gut.
It took another to feel how right itsounded.
It was a shame she wouldn’t rememberanything past the point of me carrying her into her new home when she woke upthe next morning.
Chapter Twenty-Four
Olive
“How could you not tell me this beforetoday?”
“Megan sprung it on me at the very lastminute, Olive. Don’t worry, it’ll be fun. You’ll like it.”
“Are you sure? Are you very sure that Iwill like it, Jason?” I narrowed my eyes at him and watched his lips twitch ashe focused on something on his phone. I heard a chuckle come from beside me soI turned my gaze to Alvin and lifted a brow.
I had met Jason’s assistant just a few daysbefore when we’d literally run into each other at the house. I didn’t know muchabout him, but he seemed to be an okay guy. He was definitely on top ofeverything. From what I had seen for the past few days, he was practicallyrunning Jason’s life. Kudos to him.
“Did you know?” I asked him.
“Of course he knew, Olive. He arranges myschedule.”
“What the boss says,” Alvin agreed withhim.
“Great. Awesome. Neither one of you thoughtit would be helpful to mention ahead of time that I’d be in a magazine shoot. As in, maybe, I don’t know, a few days before?” I kept fidgeting with myhands.
“Stop fidgeting. Other than making you freakout like you are doing right now, how would it have been helpful?” asked Jason.
I gave him a disbelieving look. “If Icould’ve started freaking out a few days before, right now I would be muchcalmer, Jason. Also, doesn’t Megan need to instruct me or rehabilitate me orsome crap like that? How am I supposed to know what I can say and what I can’t?”
