“How are you guys even real?” I croaked out with my hands thrown into the air before I gripped Leo’s arm tightly.

Kline chuckled and put his hand on my neck. “Are these happy tears?”

“Yes! God, you’re all just so…perfect. I don’t understand. Shit, look what you’ve done to me…” I was an emotional wreck, and I had no idea all these feelings were in me. Apparently, only they were able to make them come out.

The guys all looked amused by my sudden outburst.

“Fuck me, you’re sweet,” Kline muttered, gently squeezing my neck.

“Your reaction is just the one we were hoping to see one day. It means you know that we care about you, kitten. We care about you a whole damn lot,” Bennett said with a gentle voice.

I needed a moment to calm down, and after wiping away my tears, I loosened Leo’s grip and stepped back to look at them all. I took a deep breath and ran my hands through my hair, laughing at how silly my reaction was. “I’m sorry. I haven’t yet realized just how lucky I am.”

“Take your time. We’ll be right here,” Watson said with a grin.

“We’re not overwhelming you with all this, are we?” Bennett asked, looking worried.

“Yes. I mean…it’s a little overwhelming, but in a good way. I’m not used to this. Having a man—or four—care so much about me.”

“We’ll take it slow,” Ben promised me but that wasn’t what I wanted.

“No, don’t. I like it just the way it is. I think I like being thrown into the cold water without a warning. Which is ironic because I would literally die if that would happen for real.”

The guys laughed, and I joined in shortly after. They were helping me feel good, and no matter the situation, they always found a way to make me smile.

My heart was pounding loudly in my chest, and it seemed that my brain had shut off completely because what I said next came purely from the heart.

“You guys are making it really easy for me to fall in love with you.”

I froze, and I felt my cheeks turn bright red.

They were staring at me while I wished to run and hide, but my feet weren’t able to move. Had I said the wrong thing? After everything they told me, did I manage to change their minds by being too vulnerable?

“Well, shit…” Watson murmured as a smirk spread on his lips. “And I thought Leo would be the first to break and admit his feelings for you.”

“I was damn close just minutes ago,” Leo confessed. “No, scratch that. I was damn close weeks ago already.”

“Yeah, same here,” Bennett said, smiling gently.

“Ah fuck it. Me too,” Watson admitted.

I looked at the three of them wide-eyed before my gaze landed on Kline. He hadn’t said anything yet, and while I didn’t expect him to out his feelings, I hoped he would too.

He ran a hand over his head and chuckled. “I don’t want to make this a competition, but I’m damn sure that I was the first to fall for her.”

My heart was doing all kinds of flips.

I was not only falling for four men, but I had four men falling for me too. How insane was that?

“No fucking way. I was first,” Leo argued.

“Doesn’t fucking matter who was first. It matters how we continue on from here.” Watson looked at me with a determined gleam. “Are you sure about this, Lola? Do you want all four of us?”

“Yes.”

“How sure are you?”

I furrowed my brows. “Very sure.”
