Hi. I’ll be coming to The Hot Spot with Willa later. No need to pick me up. But I’ll need a ride home after.

Leo was quick to start typing, and I waited for his message to pop up.

Leo

I hope you mean our home.

I laughed and typed a reply.

Me

Yes, your home. We wanted to watch that new movie after the show, remember?

Watson

Of course he forgot. His brain doesn’t work right unless he’s cooking.

I wondered if they were in the same room again, texting me at the same time. It happened before, and Kline had to take away their phones so they would stop arguing with each other.

Alright now. I’m having dinner with Willa, then we’ll come watch the show. See you later :)

All their messages came at the same time, and I couldn’t help but laugh at the idea of them all sitting around in their dressing room backstage, silently staring at their phones without looking at each other.

It was almost comical, but I liked how they were always so attentive and present when I texted them. They didn’t want to miss out.

Willa and I left the restaurant with a full belly and a satisfied smile on our faces. We couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was, and we even bought two single tacos to take with us on the ride to The Hot Spot.
