We headed back to the bar and found Elia arguing with a woman. It was Vivian. God, that woman was everywhere these days.
I stopped a few feet away and leaned against the counter, trying to get Elia’s attention. “Is everything okay?”
“Not really,” he replied with a heavy sigh, keeping his eyes on Vivian. “I told you already, you can’t go back there. It’s for staff only.”
“She went back there before the show!” Vivian argued, pointing her finger at me. “She’s not staff either. No she’s not!”
“I don’t have the time or patience to argue with you right now. You can’t go back there. Go back to your table, or if you’re done here, leave.”
Willa and I watched as Elia continuously tried to get Vivian to move along, and after a while, she finally left the bar to go back to her table.
“That was weird,” Willa muttered, her brows furrowed.
Elia just shook his head and went back to cleaning the counter, looking exhausted from that interaction.
“Wait, is that the weird woman who was being strange to you a few weeks ago? The one who also talked to you at the grocery store?”
“Yes, that’s her.”
“God, what a weirdo. The fact she wanted to go backstage says enough already.”
I agreed, but I didn’t want to give that woman any more attention. “Come on, let’s have one more drink.”
“Non-alcoholic,” Willa stated.
“Never thought I’d agree to that.”
We laughed and sat back down on the stools, ordering two virgin margaritas.
It didn’t take the guys long before they came out from backstage. They were dressed in their normal clothes, but Leo was still walking around in just a pair of jeans.
He grinned as he walked toward me, and without giving me the chance to say hi, he grabbed my face with both hands and kissed me hard.
I couldn’t hold back a laugh as he deepened the kiss, holding me in place without giving me a chance to push him away. Not that I wanted to, anyway.
“Let her breathe,” Watson said in an annoyed tone, then he added, “I changed my mind. He is the most obsessed with her and I don’t think it’s healthy.”
I finally managed to break free from Leo’s kiss, and I put my arms around his waist to keep him close. I grinned up at him before looking over at Watson. “You’ll have to do something about that. He made you guys mess up one of the dances.”
“I told you, baby. When you’re here, you’re all I see.”
Kline furrowed his brows, giving Leo a stern look. “And you better get that fixed or we’ll have to move Lola out of your sight while we’re on stage.”
“Fuck no. Come on, man. Don’t act like she’s not distracting you too,” Leo argued. His arm was wrapped around my shoulders, not letting me get away from him.
“Of course she’s distracting. But we have a job to do.”
I wasn’t upset or jealous about the fact that Kline prioritized the show. I was just a guest too, and I always told them not to mind me when I was here.
But Leo just couldn’t get over it, which was sweet, admittedly.
He was about to say something when Bennett lifted his hand, shutting Leo down. “Let’s not argue. We put on a great show, and I want to enjoy the rest of the night.”
He stepped closer to me and gave Leo quick look, making him let go of me. I smiled up at Ben and kissed his jaw, hugging him tightly while standing on my tiptoes. “You were great up there as always,” I assured him.
“Thank you, kitten.” He buried his face into the crook of my neck, with his arms wrapped around my waist. “I won’t admit this to them, but I messed up my solo performance because of you too.”
I laughed softly and leaned back to look at his face. “I didn’t notice,” I told him before kissing him gently.
