“No, Sebastian is over there,” he nods to the couch across from us. “And the twins are upstairs. I think Sebastian will be very excited to see you,” he says, finally looking at me while he speaks.

“I’m not so sure about that,” I say. “I’m not his favorite person lately.”

“Well,” Xavier starts, “maybe you can go over there and make it up to him.” He winks and nods toward the couch. “Maybe your sister won’t mind keeping me company on that couch over there?” he asks, pointing to where he just came from.

“Hmmm,” I say in return, grabbing my martini and slamming it before I stand. “You agree, Corrine?”

She nods then says “I’m wonderful. You go take care of business.” The two walk away, close enough to touch each other.

I look towards who I now know to be Sebastian and notice his hand gesturing for me to come join him.

Chapter 36

Sebastian

Fuck it, if Xavier is going to have some fun, I might as well have some too. Leaning forward on the couch just enough for my hand to break the light, I beckon for the person across the room to join me. Their posture is stiff and it takes them a few minutes, but then they get up and walk around the edge of the room towards me.

The shadows dance across and I can see that this woman has some fantastic curves. She’s sporting a bodycon a-line dress with one ruched side that splits clear up to her hip.
