I pull out my phone and send a text to Oscar, letting him know to start researching the homes.

“Depending how good your guy is, it will take some time to figure that out, but in the meantime, let's come up with a plan once we do find out the location.”

“Psh, what plan? We go in there and fuck shit up and get his girl,” Alek says.

Gavrill shakes his head. “Not in the middle of Seattle. We don’t have any leverage with the police there, and I’m not in the mood to clean up the mess that would be left behind after a stunt like that.”

“So what do we do?” I ask.

Silence hangs in the air as everyone thinks.

“What about Xavier?” Olga, one of the guys, says.

“Who’s that?”

“He’s our unofficial hit man. He’s like a ninja. Good with a sniper too. If anyone can get in and out of somewhere without a trace, it’s him,” Alek explains.

“I want to be there,” I argue.

“No. I like this idea. It's better if we watch the house or building or whatever. Wait until there’s fewer people and then we strike. Xavier can take out who he needs to take out and then rescue the girl,” Gavrill says.

I run my hand through my hair. “I don’t like the sound of this. I want to be there.”

Alek places a hand on my shoulder. “You came to us for a reason. Let us take care of this and get your girl back for you.”

I don’t like being on the sideline, but I don’t have any other choice. Sasha is waiting for me, and I don’t have any more time to waste.
