Bane grabbed her ass, rubbing her against him as his hips gyrated between her legs. Unable to stop the climax, she rode the wave as it consumed her body. Over and over.
He captured her mouth, muffling his groan as he slammed inside of her and held her tightly against him.
She panted for breath as her body released her and fatigue settled over her. Putting her head on his shoulder, she unhooked her ankles and let her leg float.
Reluctantly, she untangled her fingers from his hair and said, "I'll need to run to the bathroom."
He cocked his head. She glanced around. Liz and Dio weren't even in the pool.
"Lift me." She grabbed the side of the pool, still connected to him.
He gave her a boost, and she hurried into the locker room, thankful that she still hadn't run into Liz and Dio. She went to the bathroom, cleaned herself, and slipped into the office. Opening her locker, she put on a pair of clean shorts and a tank top.
Bane walked in, naked and unashamed of his lack of clothes—God, he looked good.
She threw him a towel from her stash. "I don't know where Liz went. I should find her and make sure she's okay."
"Dio will take care of her."
Bane slipped into his clothes, and after putting on his boots, he donned his leather vest. Now that their so-called swim was over, she grew nervous again about breaking the rules. She could lose her job if anyone found out they'd trespassed when the pool was closed, not to mention she'd taken advantage of her position as manager.
"Ready?" asked Bane.
"Yeah." She led him outside and locked the door behind her.
Now that they were away from the pool, she took a deep breath and latched onto his hand. As they walked down the steps onto the sidewalk, she spotted Liz standing outside the Havlin Parts Shop with Dio standing in front of her. They looked cozy but weren't hanging on each other.
She glanced at Bane and shrugged. She had no idea what was going on with those two.
All she knew was that after the evening out with Bane, she'd fallen helplessly in love with him.
Chapter Eighteen
Bane refused to let Daisy go. She wasn't putting up much of a fight to get away.
"I really need to go." She peppered his face with kisses. "I promised Liz I'd be there at one o'clock, so she still had time to run some errands before she opens the pool for a private party."
