Coco added her appreciation on to hers, and together, they walked out the door. Heart racing and needing to purge her body of all the questions and excitement building up inside of her, she hurried across the street without saying a word.
Inside the house, she turned to Coco and screamed in excitement, hugging her friend. "Did you hear how much we're getting paid?"
"A week off." Coco rocked her side by side. "We have our days free."
"Oh, my God. I can't believe this." She pulled back and danced around the room. "This is the best thing that has ever happened in forever."
"I knew it, girl. I knew they'd hire us." Coco flopped down on the couch and laughed. "And, did you see that guy? He's huge and all serious like, and did you see how he kept looking at your boobs? Shit, it was like he owned those puppies."
"Stop." She broke out in goosebumps, rubbing her arms. "I can't believe this. What are the uniforms going to look like? We get to wear sneakers though. That's good."
Coco sat up straight. "Slag Motorcycle Club. What does Slag mean?"
She shrugged. "I don't know."
"Kind of weird that they rode into town last night and on Tuesday, they'll be opening." Coco frowned. "I hope we're not being hired for something different than what he described."
"Like what?"
"You know, the sports bars where the women are hired for their..." Coco cupped her breasts. "Though that wouldn't explain why he hired me."
"You're crazy. Love what you got." She slapped Coco's leg. "You know what this means?"
"What?"
"We have four days off until we start our new job and with the two weeks of severance pay, we're actually making money to have those four days off." Lizzy squealed.
Maybe she'd start to feel like she was living life instead of life kicking her ass. Best of all, she and Coco would get to work together still, and that made her happy.
