I laughed, turning to her. “You’re married. To a man. You know that, right?”

“And we’d be happy to have you,” she smirked before laughing with me.

Niko pointed a finger at her. “Not a chance in hell—”

“We’ll see.”

I playfully rolled my eyes. She was messing with him now; that much was obvious.

Niko pulled all my hair behind me and ran his fingers through it. He pulled a hair tie off my wrist while placing a kiss on my hot shoulder. He began braiding it into one giant braid down my back. Letting him do whatever he pleased, I closed my eyes and leaned back, loving how his hands felt in my hair. It was also a great distraction from his erection that I wanted to take care of.

After he finished braiding my hair, he lathered sunscreen onto my back and shoulders while I got my stomach, chest, and legs. “Perfection,” he grinned proudly. He placed a wet kiss on the back of my neck before he stood to join the others.

Beer in hand, he adjusted himself to hide his hard-on. A heartbeat throbbed between my legs, ogling the imprint of his dick in his shorts before he managed to hide it against his thigh. Noticing my stare, he smirked and sent me a wink.

I bit my lip and looked away as he entered the pool. The motion of him pulling on his shorts played over and over in my mind. Bringing my drink to my lips, I tried to think of anything other than grinding down on him.

These men would be the death of me. Since the day Aiden asked me to help him with the cupcakes, the only thing on my mind was sex. It was like I was at a buffet but never got full. They were like a drug I was entirely dependent on. They’d corrupted my mind and body—just like they’d promised.

The pool was icy. I was perfectly content with lounging in the sun all day, but I agreed when Reesia suggested we take a dip. I loved the heat and all things hot and hated being cold. I was shivering, and my eyes wandered to everyone else who looked completely comfortable in the water.

Reesia clung to Collin’s back, wrapping her arms and legs around him as he stood in the pool’s deep end with the others. She was short and couldn’t reach the bottom. Vincent had a small float that he sat on, leaving his arms and shoulders out of the water and the rest of him submerged. Jamie and my guys were all standing or leaning against the pool’s edges.

I was between Wyatt and Aiden, who stood against one of the edges. Wyatt’s arm was wrapped around my waist underwater, gently holding me up. My feet were only a few inches from the bottom, and if I really wanted to go any deeper into the water, I could have stood just fine.

“Did I mention I got a call from one of the security guards this week?” Jamie asked into the open after their last conversation ended.

“What for?” Collin questioned, wearing the same concerned expressions as everyone else. I didn’t know what Jamie was talking about. Like most of their conversations, I’d pick it up along the way.

Jamie took a drink before setting her beer down on the ledge. “It’s three in the morning. My phone is buzzing like the inside of one of Reesia’s drawers—”

“Watch it, Trix,” Reesia snapped, a faint blush across her nose.

Everyone chuckled at Jamie’s jab before she continued. “I finally looked, and the manager, dungeon master on shift, and outside security called me and left messages. My first thought is, okay, who died?” She rolled her eyes. “Long story short, a man who’s been going to the club for about three months now decided it would be a good idea to pregame before going to get around the two-drink maximum rule. He was stumbling around, knocking things and people over. Luckily, he only broke a few things, and no one was hurt or harassed,” she finished.

So, if I understood correctly—and I think I did—Jamie owned the sex club they went to. Suddenly, her wealth and choice of decor made sense.

“What a fucking idiot,” Aiden shook his head.

Jamie nodded. “He wasn’t happy about being banned for life, that’s for sure.”

Suddenly, Wyatt’s hands were around my waist, lifting me up and sitting me on the ledge. “Your lips are blue,” he noted.

I was happy to be out of the water, the sun instantly unthawing me. Although, now I didn’t have the water to hide myself from Jamie, Vincent, and Reesia’s wanting glances.

Casually pulling my legs out of the water, I brought my knees to my chest and wrapped my arms around them.

Vincent raised his brows. “Speaking of,” he started. “When are the four—or five—” he winked at me. “—of you going to the club again? Everyone’s been asking about you.”

I caught my tongue between my teeth, knowing the reason they hadn’t gone lately was because of me. They’d mentioned it but never pressured or asked me if I wanted to go. This world was new to me, and I was painfully shy—they knew that.

Did they want to go? I think I knew the answer to that question already. They obviously had friends there that they hadn’t seen in months and liked to go.

I had mere seconds to think about Vincent’s baiting question. Every one of my professors was quiet for a moment before each of them opened their mouths to speak. Surely, with different excuses of why they wouldn’t.

Maybe it was the two margaritas or the fact that I didn’t want to cower away from their world, but I beat them to the punch, cutting them off. “What day are you least busy?” I asked Jamie.

Her eyes lit with intrigue, and Vincent shifted in his float, also looking excited. Reesia and Collin were making out in the corner, getting hot and heavy. I almost wanted to laugh at their sudden PDA. When did she even get off his back? If Reesia was paying attention, I was sure she’d celebrate. But for now, she was very occupied.
