"Who supplies them?"

"We don't know; we're working on it." Dante settled into one of the chairs. "Have you heard the latest gossip? That Miss Wang was actually Mr. Cheng?"

"Yes, Romeo told me the day before yesterday. What a mess, we had him right in our hands without knowing it..."

"Giulio's men, Salvatore's, the Russian's, and ours are combing the entire area looking for him. What I don't understand is why you and Andrey were kidnapped. It doesn't make sense..."

"I don't understand it either, it doesn't add up. If someone had survived, we could have asked them."

"I don't know. All of this doesn't fit. What does the Russian say?"

"It doesn't add up for her either..."

"She's got the boss by the balls," Dante chuckled. "The other day he was at the bar and I saw him quite affected. Luckily, Irene cheered him up." I furrowed my brow, unaware that she and R had met.

What did Dante mean by saying she cheered him up? Had he slept with her? I wasn't going to pry into their personal affairs; it wasn't my business who my boss slept with, or if Irene was still offering him consolation prizes.

"Well, what have you thought of to screw over the Chinese business?" Dante smiled at me.

"We need another beer to discuss that."

Tightening relationships

I was sitting in the living room, looking over all the information she had gathered on how to entertain the kids. She needed to find something because everything she had done before hadn't worked.

Romeo chose the places we went to.

According to my husband, they were foolproof destinations.

Yesterday, we went to a water park where the wonderful Adriano decided to kick the donut I was about to sit on at the exact moment I sat down. The floatie was sent flying, and I suffered the same fate as I fell into the water. Both of us went sliding down the slide, and I felt like one of those balls you try to fit into the central hole of a plastic maze, bouncing from side to side relentlessly. As I tumbled, I tried unsuccessfully to reach him, and my ordeal ended when I was launched into the air, landing in a pool and swallowing more water than I thought I could drink in five years.

I came out with both tits out and my tailbone bruised. The woman who was on the slide next to me, who could have been my mother with about eighty pounds extra, reached the same destination as me without any difficulty. And with all the audacity in the world, she murmured that I needed more weight on me to not fly off like a dandelion.

"I don't lack anything, ma'am. What I have too much of is a damn ten-year-old with psychopathic tendencies!" I growled, before a huge wave swallowed me from behind.

The husband, who outweighed the woman by two tons, couldn't wait for me to get out of the pool before he threw himself in like a torpedo, sinking my ship. He almost ran over me with his feet. I climbed the stairs as best as I could, adjusting my tits and lifting my chin defiantly.

Outside was R, phone in hand, crying with laughter and capturing a graphic testimony of my embarrassment.

"Either you delete that video or I'll throw you headfirst, without a donut, down the next slide," I threatened.

"Don't get mad, love, with videos like these, some people have gone viral."

"Viral? Oh, yes, of course, I could definitely be a damn virus that devours your insides. Delete it!" I coerced angrily.

"I'll do it later, now Adri is coming down, look how well he does... What happened to you? Did you lose the floatie on a curve? Or was it a subliminal message for me to eat your donut?" he asked jokingly.

From below, nothing could be seen that could incriminate my little nephew, so I preferred to keep quiet.

"The only thing I lost on that slide was my dignity, but don't worry, I plan to regain it."

I looked at the challenging face of the child, who laughed with joy after reaching the pool without any incident.

"Did you see me, dad?! Did you see me?! I'm a pro," he said, coming out without any inconvenience. Of course, since nobody

kicked his floatie, he was perfectly fine.
