He's a sick fuck, kidnapping and taking me sexually, but if playing along is what it takes to win this game, then I'm going to beat him at it.
He just doesn't realize it.
He walks me back to the motel and into the room, where he chains me back to the bed. I sit with my back propped up against the bed frame. "Can you clean the window? So the light can come in better?"
"Yeah, I can do that for you."
See, he’s already taking my orders.
Chapter Seven
Eitan
I come in the morning with a bucket of warm water and a cloth, and I clean the window, trying not to leave any streaks behind.
Brodie is asleep when I come in, but by the time I'm done, she's turned over to watch me.
"That's better," she says. "This place has potential."
"We have potential," I say quietly. I wipe the sweat from my forehead. I move to the bed and sit at the end of it, facing her.
"Can we go outside again today?" she asks quietly.
"I have something special planned," I say. "When I'm ready, we can go down to the river."
She smiles and reaches for my hand. "What have you got planned?"
"You'll see," I say quietly. I stand up and walk out of the room. I go to the kitchen and take out some fruit, cured meat, and some cheese. I pack it into a basket with a blanket and take out a bottle of champagne. I decant the bottle of champagne into two plastic drinking bottles and then put that in the basket.
I carry the basket and leave it outside Brodie's room. I go inside, and I undo her chain, lacing it around her middle above the skirt and locking it in place.
"Come on," I say, leading her out of the room.
She walks close to me as we leave the room, and I pick up the basket.
"Oh, we're having a picnic. That's so thoughtful." Brodie smiles. "I love picnics."
"I remember you used to have them in the backyard all the time," I say. I lead her down to the river, where I tie the end of the chain to a nearby tree. I lay out the blanket and then unpack the food and drink.
I sit down and pat the blanket next to me. "Come sit."
Brodie sits down and leans back, her breasts exposed to the elements, her nipples hard in the cool breeze.
I break up some cheese and pass a piece to her, holding it to her lips.
She slowly opens her mouth, and I push the cheese onto her tongue. She closes her lips around my fingers and bites down. I yank my hand back just in time. She giggles and eats the cheese.
I give her a hesitant smile. Is she playing a game?
"Maybe we should go back..." I say.
"No," she says quickly. "I was only teasing."
I get up and walk down to the river, putting the key to the lock on a rock where I can see it. I have spares at the motel. I come back to the blanket and sit down. "Now, if you try anything, you won't be able to escape."
"I don't want to escape," she insists, a little too hard. "I just want to enjoy our picnic."
I nod. "I know how we can enjoy it more."
