My face was going to burst into flame, I was sure of it. I nodded once, peering at him with several of my eyes through my fingers.
“I mean, with how fast you can move, I’m pretty sure that would last a whole two seconds,” Caleb said, glancing around at the webbing that covered my home.
“I wouldn’t catch you right away,” I mumbled around my hands.
“Oh, so you want to play with your food?” he asked with a small smirk.
If there had been a hole nearby, I would have crawled into it and died. “I’m sorry, that’s horrible of me!”
“Babe, I’m joking,” Caleb said, and his new nickname for me prompted me to pull my face from my hands to look at him. If he was aware of what he had called me, he wasn’t making a big deal out of it. He looked thoughtful before he said, “Sure. As long as you don’t injure me, I’ll let you chase me.”
I gaped at him for a long moment, and then suddenly I launched myself at him, catching him in my arms to give him a kiss. “Oh, thank you, Caleb! That makes me so excited!” He jumped at my sudden movement, and I felt the rush of his heartbeat. I pulled back a little, the blush returning once more. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.”
He laughed, a sound that I wanted to hear every day. “It really means that much to you?”
“I know that you trust me,” I said. “And I want to bring you so much pleasure. I think it would just add more pleasure for me.”
He blinked. “Well, I want you to feel pleasure too. So, yeah, we can try it.”
“That’s not selfish of me?” I asked hopefully.
“What? No, of course not,” Caleb said, his voice surprisingly gentle. “Even if I know you like getting me off and making me feel good, I want you to feel good too. That’s how a relationship should work.”
He was so understanding. I couldn’t have asked for a better boyfriend. His willingness gave me the courage to add, “I did have another idea.”
“You and your ideas,” he said with a dramatic groan, flopping back against the couch. “If you’re going to ask me to wear a fly costume, I might have to draw the line.”
I laughed. As cute as Caleb would look in a pair of wings, that wasn’t what I had planned. “I was thinking of buying something, but I wanted to ask you first. I promise it’s not a fly costume.”
“Okay then, what is it?” Caleb said, sitting up again.
I pulled out my phone and pulled up a webpage, holding it out for him to see, hoping he would be too distracted by my phone to see how red my face was. The page showed a strap-on harness, with a variety of dildos that could be attached to it. I had done a rather ridiculous amount of research this week on various harnesses, attachments, and other instruments that could mimic sexual organs. Humans really did love sex and got very creative with it sometimes.
Caleb stared at it for a long moment before he turned his eyes up toward me. “You want to use a strap-on with me?” he asked. I had worried he might be upset, but he sounded curious more than anything.
“It was a thought,” I said, pulling the phone back. “But only if you wanted to.”
“I haven’t used one before, but I’d be open, if you think that’s something you want to try out.” He glanced at where my torso connected to the rest of my spider form. “It might take a little creative strapping though.”
I laughed, louder than I meant to, probably from nervousness. “I’m not worried about that part. But are you really all right with it? And of course, you can stop at any time if you don’t like it.”
Caleb sat up on his knees so he could be eye to eye with me. “Yes, I’m all right with it. Maybe just don’t go for the biggest dildo option our first time around. Deal?”
“Deal,” I said and kissed him firmly.
“And when you’re chasing me, don’t give me a heart attack either,” he said.
“I won’t,” I said.
He pulled back to look into my eyes. “Will you do something for me too?”
I nodded. “Yes, of course.”
He took my hand in his, giving it a squeeze. “After we do this, you go out with me. To a restaurant.”
I blinked all eight of my eyes at the unexpected request. “You mean, leave my house?”
“Yes,” Caleb said. “I’ll be right by your side the entire time. I’ll support you, and you support me.” He raised his right arm up so I could see the stump. “I want to try going out into the world without… without covering myself up.”
