“And you’re mine,” he admitted. “Forever. I promise that to you.”
That was all he needed.
HIM.
Because where better to make out than here, Gryphen kissed him.
Ian melted into him, and their lips moved against each other’s. For the next few minutes, they just enjoyed that moment.
When Gryphen broke the kiss, he stared deep into his eyes.
“I could stay here all night kissing you, but it’s going to be dark soon.”
He understood.
“We have things to work on before the night gets later. We have contracts to write, and you need to decide if you still want to tie yourself to me. I won’t lie, Mr. Patterson. I hope you go through with it. If you do, I promise to love and protect you forever,” he stated.
Oh, Ian knew he would.
With tenderness, he put his palm on his cheek and enjoyed the scruff.
Not hesitating, Gryphen left a kiss on the inside of his hand.
How could he not be in love with this man? Ian knew he was getting a treasure.
“Yes, my Lord,” he said. “Let’s go back to the castle and come to an agreement. I want to make sure that I write down everything I want. Then, we celebrate our relationship.”
Oh, that was exactly what Gryphen wanted to do.
And consummate it.
Chapter Thirteen
Ravensmire
Friday Night
Ninety Minutes
Later
When it came time to meet up, Ian had written down his contract for Gryphen to agree to. On it, he made sure he wrote down exactly what he was expecting once they ventured into this relationship.
Since they were taking it further, he defined his parameters.
And they were pretty standard.
Now, he had to see what it was that Gryphen had on his list. It made him giddy to see it. He knew his would be things that heated his body, and got him giddy. After today, he wanted even more.
He wanted to push those boundaries and come out of his shell to heal.
He couldn’t wait until they consummated it either. Someone was in for a surprise.
As he walked through the kitchen, Graham was just coming in from the outside.
“I’m glad you’re here,” he said, tossing him a box. “They just delivered your ring to the gate. We almost didn’t get it.”
Ian caught it, and opened the box. Inside, he saw the pristine platinum ring. When he held it up, there were two words on the inside.
