Ian just shrugged, already knowing what he had planned.

“Well, someone needs to be patient.”

“Well, if that’s what he needs,” he said, kissing him. “I guess I can be patient. Go get yourself some stationary,” he said.

Ian rubbed against him.

“Would you like to join me?” he asked.

Oh, he would, but he was getting a little too horny and his control wasn’t really working right now. He still couldn’t believe his man gave him head in that store.

Someone was wild and unpredictable. Then again, he’d told him he needed to give himself to him whenever he asked.

And he had.

“I’ll be right here. I want to be surprised at what you choose.”

That worked for him.

As Ian went in, Gryphen took a seat on the bench facing the shops. As he was sitting there, he felt eyes on him, and it was the first time since being there that the hair on the back of his neck stood.

And it brought back bad memories.

His body went on alert.

When he turned, he scanned the street, looking for danger, and then, he knew why he felt watched.

Graham was standing on the other side of the street giving them some space.

The minute he realized that he was seen, he nodded in greeting.

Since Ian was shopping, Gryphen didn’t mind some company.

He waved him over.

“Hey,” he said, as he sat down. “How long were you watching us?” he asked.

“Not long. Only when you came out of the kilt shop. What happened? Did you get it wrecked during the evening’s festivities?” he asked, laughing.

Gryphen snorted.

“No, Ian wanted one for the wedding and one for sexy time. So we picked up another.”

“God. Lucky Ian,” he said. “Anyway, I didn’t want to interrupt you guys,” he stated. “You looked like you were having fun shopping.”

“We were. Ian’s buying thank you notes for after the wedding.”

He played along.

“Oh, are you engaged?” Graham inquired. “Did skating and sledding romance you to the point you knew it was time?”

Gryphen sighed.

“Nope. He hasn’t asked yet. I’m getting impatient.”

He stared at him.

“So, let me get this straight. You are clearly the dominant one, since you carry him around over your shoulder and play Lord Carter, but you aren’t asking him for his hand in marriage?”
