He laughed.

“Oh, I do.”

“We all do, and maybe it’s refreshing to just enjoy it and not worry who sees it or hears it. If you’re offended…”

He stopped him.

“I’m not. I was a soldier. I saw a lot of naked men. What I saw last night didn’t offend me. I will be honest though,” he said.

Gryphen waited.

“I saw Ian last night, and when I asked him about the chores, I asked if he was okay.”

Gryphen said nothing.

“I asked him if he needed me to get him out of here and away from you.”

Graham saw the man’s body ripple in displeasure.

“Did you now?”

“Calm down. Wouldn’t you have done the same if you saw a man carrying someone over their shoulder with their hands bound and their ass red?”

Okay, he had a point. Gryphen absolutely would intervene.

“And Ian said?” he asked.

“That he’d be pissed at me if I did try to get him away from you. I think he might have kicked my ass.”

That gave Gryphen so much peace that the man he loved felt the same about him.

“He used to be a Secret Service Agent, Graham. He protected the President of the United States. Don’t look at him, see his calm demeanor, and assume that he couldn’t grab a gun and do the job. He would. Ian simply defers to me, since he knows I am a control freak.”

He appreciated that in a person.

“Aye, so you found yourself a warrior.”

He had.

“In bed, he lets me lead, but Ian is no one’s pushover. Trust me. He’d do the job.”

What could he say to that?

Instead, he knew it was time to get him out of the house to buy Ian some space to surprise his man.

“You up for some wood?” he asked, changing the subject.

Gryphen paused.

“You mean the kind you chop, right? I need to clarify because you have a Gryphen kink.”

He actually laughed because Ian had said something similar the night before and he absolutely did. He was a sucker for a soldier.

That was his big downfall.

He liked a big man with a wild streak.

“Uh, yes, unless you’re interested in carrying me around on your shoulders,” he said. “Because the answer is yes. That’s why I asked if you had a brother.”
