Gryphen didn’t care.
If he had a dollar for every time he was in a strange country as an American, he’d be rich. Granted, all of those times he was in camo and carrying a gun, but ehhh…
Potato.
Potatoe.
At the counter, Gryphen let Ian choose his snack.
“I’ll have one of the cranberry butteries,” he said, pointing at the pastry that was dusted with powdered sugar.
“Make it two,” Gryphen said, “And two hot chocolates, please,” he stated, pulling out his wallet as the older woman rang them up.
Gryphen paid, and they took their food to a table not far away to sit and eat.
When they did, Ian took off his coat, and Gryphen did the same.
The Marine was in a tight-fitting Henley, and it showed off his body. The minute his peacoat was off, the looks were crystal clear.
“Uh, the ladies are staring,” Ian said, grinning. “Someone likes American Marines.”
Gryphen shrugged.
“Too bad. I’m taken, and I don’t like ladies. I like a particular man. Does it bother you?” he asked. “If it does, I can put my coat back on.”
He shook his head.
“Hell, no. I’m proud of the man I caught. I know what they’re thinking.”
Gryphen stared at him waiting for him to go there and piss him off again.
Only, the man surprised him.
“What are they thinking, Ian?”
“How they wish they were me, and had my luck and good fortune at finding an eligible bachelor Marine.”
He laughed.
“And that’s exactly how you caught me. Oh, and it’s that truly spectacular ass of yours.”
He winked at him.
Ian was so happy that he could do cartwheels in the streets.
Because man could not live on cum alone, he broke his pastry apart, and enjoyed the tart and sweetness of it.
“This is so good,” he said.
Gryphen agreed.
He loved him some bakery foods.
When he sipped the steaming hot chocolate, it wasn’t as sweet as American hot chocolate, and he actually liked it better.
You could taste the chocolate.
For the next few minutes, they enjoyed the bakery and the food. It was quaint, and something neither would forget. When Ian wiped a speck of chocolate from Gryphen’s lip, and then licked his thumb, the Marine grinned.
