“Are you overwhelmed? Need me to be Gryphen for you?” he asked.
“I’m overwhelmed, but not in a bad way. I was thinking about you.”
“What about?” Gryphen asked.
Ian took a chance.
Going up on his toes, he reached Gryphen’s mouth and kissed him. It was sweet, filled with love, and made the bigger man sigh.
Slowly, Ian kissed him, proving that Mr. Patterson had some passion in him.
When he broke away, he put his head on his chest and Gryphen held him.
“I love you, my Lord.”
His heart skipped.
“Oh, Mr. Patterson, I’m stupid in love with you too. I love these moments.”
He lifted his chin.
“I feel so safe with you,” Ian admitted. “Thank you for that.”
He ran his thumb over his lower lip.
“Forever. I promise. Now, let me woo you, Mr. Patterson,” he said. “Because while I love fucking you, I also love sharing these moments with you.”
He was ready.
As they walked into the stable, they found the two horses saddled up and ready.
“A ride?” Ian asked.
“Yeah, I want to ride out to the cliffs, where you can see the sun rise and set, and have a moment with you, Mr. Patterson.”
That worked for him.
“Yes, please, my Lord.”
Gryphen put Ian’s hat on his head to make sure he was bundled up.
“You can call me by my name.”
Ian knew he could.
“I’m good. I like calling you that. I like giving you that respect and showing you how much I rely on you.”
He kissed him on the forehead.
“Okay, Mr. Patterson.”
They got ready.
“Apparently, it’s an easy trek, and something to see. The horses will go there automatically.”
He smiled.
“Really?” he asked.
