“Can you wait for me for a few minutes?” he asked.

The smile said it all.

Gryphen was lounging on their bed in a pair of jeans, and t-shirt.

“When you get back, we begin our evening. Wine, dinner, and fornication.”

He blushed.

“Oh, well, I’ll be back.”

Graham winked at Gryphen, and headed out with Ian. He had to get him there, and then back up to help Gryphen get into his kilt.

The food was already on the table in warmers, and so far, everything was going down without a hitch.

Heading down the stairs, he made small talk.

“What’s she like?” Graham asked, curiously. The woman had three husbands, and her one man had a boyfriend—according to the media. It was a weird situation all together.

“Elizabeth? Well, she’s sweet, annoying like a sister, and the best person I’ve ever met. She can be your best friend or your worst nightmare. Luckily, she’s one of my closest friends.”

“Is she really as badass as she seems?” he asked. “The media talks about her all of the time. I didn’t get to meet her last time since she was on a case, and Callen came with Christopher.”

He laughed.

“Oh, yeah. She’s tough. If you want someone who can handle a gun, outthink a killer, and still be a mom, she’s your girl. Don’t believe everything you hear in the media. She’s a sweetheart. She has so much love that it’s overwhelming. She’s the reason I have Gryphen in my life.”

Graham couldn’t wait to meet her.

It didn’t take long, and he finally got him to the library and handed him the house phone.

Then, he headed out.

As soon as he heard her voice, it brought tears to his eyes.

“Elizabeth.”

“Hey, you,” she said, when he said her name. “I miss that hideous mug of yours. I also miss someone doing my goddamn paperwork.”

He laughed.

“I miss you too, Elizabeth,” he said. “Thank you for this amazing vacation. Scotland is beyond anything I ever thought it would be.”

She was glad.

“Speaking of which, how’s the vacation?” she asked, stalling by asking questions.

He gushed with excitement.

“There’s so much to see, and so much to do.”

“Okay, well, it’s tea time, as in you’re going to spill it. What’s the castle like?” she asked, glancing down. The timer was on, and she loved romance, so she was going to help Gryphen out.

Plus, she was getting details on that place.

“It’s freaking ridiculous. You’re going to love and hate it. If I tell you something, can you not kill Callen and Chris?”

At that, she knew it was trouble.
