“I don’t need him, per se. I need backup. Have him send me someone who can help me work this. Bexley is here, have Raven come. Lucian needs to be here. I need an attorney to run interference. I’m about to tear this town apart from the police department out.”

O h, but it had been a long day, and he was damn grateful to be home. Julian had just gotten the kids down for the night, he’d taken a shower, and inhaled some leftover pasta over the kitchen sink as he thought about his day tomorrow.
Thankfully, his wife had cooked him some food so that he wouldn’t starve when she was away.
That was a possibility since all he could master with three small kids was dino nuggets and PB and J sandwiches.
Yeah, she carried the weight of the family.

It was after eleven, and he had a busy day tomorrow, so his plan was uninterrupted sleep. Julian had already tried to call his wife, but she was likely having a good time.
He wished he could join her.
She was going to be skiing.

Tomorrow, Julian was going to have to hold his company together, and possibly fire one, or both, of his sisters to save the collective over the person.
