Connor, Justin, and Booth didn’t play when it came to their sisters.

But they were safe.

They had an alibi too.

They were at Julian’s house playing poker that night, and all slept there after getting way too drunk.

Hmmmm.

Someone must have really bad luck—or karma, in this case. Let that be a lesson to men. You didn’t put your goddamn hands on a woman in anger.

EVER.

Tori was handling the rounds today as Julian was getting Lianna set to take on their first clients in the bail bond agency.

Littlemoon Bonds was taking off, and already, they were weeding through the clients to look for people who needed their help.

There were a lot of dirty cops out there.

Sadly.

It gave the good ones a bad name.

As for the dead, they were being the dead, and that was never going to change.

When everyone arrived at work that morning, the photocopier had been outside of the office, sitting in the parking lot.

On it, there was a note.

‘Free. Needs a new home. Will copy for employee of the month award.’

Yeah, enough said.

They all knew Trey and Bethany had everything to do with moving Trey’s competition outside. Apparently, the dead held a grudge.

They were insane.

Last week, an offer that the rich people next door to Lucian and Bishop couldn’t say no to came in, buying their house from them. Because he’d been serious, Ridge had bought the house next door, and they spent the last few nights helping their new neighbors unpack.

God.

It was so good to have Ridge close. It made the difficult moments so much easier with their third eyes being permanently open.

With Ridge’s Mom, Jo, and her man, they were making one hell of a family.

Toss in Brianna and Laird, and they had a circle of their own, and it was perfect.

Everything was amazing. They were now a family within the Littlemoon family, and things were only going to get better.

He’d bet on it.

Lucian was working on his new mission.

Knocking up Bishop, again.

While Ridge might be his soulmate in the static, Bishop was still his queen on this plane, and he craved seeing her big and wobbly.

Sue him.
