It was just Julian frustrated that he couldn’t solve this between Claire and Lianna. His sisters were sharpening knives, and the brothers were the wall between them.

It was a bad place to be.

“Maybe let them have it out,” Lucian said.

Julian stared at him.

That was his suggestion?

Did he know the Littlemoon’s propensity to have a temper and blow things out of proportion until it came collapsing down around everyone?

Jesus.

No freaking way.

It was also clear he didn’t have sisters who grew up surrounded by brothers. That made them rattlesnake mean.

“That is a horrible idea, Lucian. Do you want dead bodies? If Claire goes at Lianna, we have to stop her. That means Connor, me, Justin, and Booth are the collateral damage. Those two will cut a bitch, and we men are the bitches in this scenario.”

Ridge laughed.

“So this is what it’s like to have siblings that are alive. Pass.”

“Getting between them is a death wish.”

Yeah, Lucian got that.

It was pretty tense there at work.

“Well, I hope you figure it out. I just came in to tell you that the women landed a little while ago, and Tori checked them into the hotel. They are about to plan out a whole wedding.”

Well, that was good.

At least someone was safe. His wife wouldn’t be shanked by an angry Native who was so pissy that people took sides.

BUT…Julian was worried.

“Yeah, that’s a wedding we can’t go to if I can’t calm this down. There’s no way I can let them take this out of state to spread the mayhem. There will be innocent people mowed down by that anger.”

Yeah, that was bad.

They all knew how much Julian liked being with his wife, and if she went to a wedding without him, he’d feel bad. Plus, he genuinely liked Bodhi and Hailey.

They were family.

The family was NOT making him cranky. His sisters were. It was only a matter of time before his temper blew, and people got fired.

While they owned a portion of the business, the Littlemoons had the majority stake. That made this a family decision. He’d take their input, but ultimately, Julian would have to pull the trigger on the firing squad.

Julian felt a reassuring pat on his back, and knew it was going to be Mary Beth.

“Thank you, Honey,” he said. “At least I have one sister who isn’t out for blood.”

They didn’t question it. They knew the dead were there. The room had a chill to it.

“You’ll figure it out,” Ridge reassured. “Want to get an update on the teams for the weekend?” he asked. “You know, so you can not stress that part at least?”

He laughed.
